Did everyone read the little article about salvadore on the top of the Devils page??? If Lou signs that slow piece of crap im going to be pissed. Especially if he signs him for anything more the 1.5 million a year. Talk about a waste of cap space. We need speed, speed, and more speed. Bryce "Cement Boots" Salvadore is not the answer. Get smart lou.

I couldn't agree with you more DevilsNiners07!!! I really don't know what Lou is thinking unless he has a big trade in mind involving other defenseman on this team. If we sign Salvador, we would already have EIGHT defenseman signed for next year (Martin, White, Mottau, Brookbank, Oduya, Greene and Vishnevski). How are we going to improve on our defense if we bring back the SAME group we had last year? I'm afraid if we sign Salvador we won't have the room (forget about the money) to sign any other defenseman. Plus he'll probably get between 2-3 mil a year for atleast 3 years. For that I would sign Stuart for 3.5 (thats what he's looking for) mil a year who actually can help offensively and is younger and skates much better then Salvador. If Salvador comes back then White definitely has to be traded. Second, what about our younger players like Mark Fraser and Matt Corrente? How can any of them make the team when all the roster spots are already taken? Lou, I was willing to give you time this year to prove me wrong but this definitely wouldn't be a good start.

Guys, I agree and I am dumbfounded as to Lou's strategy.....But whats worse is Brylin wants a multi year deal...WHAT?!?!?!?!

If that article pissed you off, you should read the article that was in the Bergen Record today. I totally gave up on all hope that Lou will do anything this summer.

jsb3083, I feel your pain!!! If LAME-oriello is comfortable with those three as his top centers then he must of been confortable with the Devils getting crushed by the rival Rangers. I'm telling you guys, if he doesn't bring in a center or via free agency or trade I'm starting my website LouMustGo.com (you guys know there is a InLouWeTrust website, I'll will link mine right to his!!!!!) Com'on Lou, stop fooling around here and bring us some needed help!!!!

This is ridiculous! Has this man lost his mind? Does he really think this assemblement of 5th and 6th defenseman, inconsistent forwards, and 3rd line players will bring us another stanley cup? Are we beginning to see the official downfall of this man? I can't believe it-yet I am not surprised. Let's see what happens July 1st...God help us all -_-

Gambi,Devilsfan626,Jsb,....I agree something is wrong...I for one am certainly missing Lou and his strategy or lack thereof.I definitely do not see the Silver lining or the big picture.Heres what I think.....Salvador should get double what he made last season,We cant keep the same lineup(like Gambi says that was crushed by the Rangers), You cant go extend Brylin for a multi year deal(I dont believe he should have a spot this year),Pandolfo is a gamer(How many defensive specialists as forwards are you going to have?).....Devils need a top tier pointman on the PP and a Forward because Devils could not score last season.....Remember how many games they were shutout and lost 2-1????....as the title of this thread says....''Seriously''.....
