Bellesdad......Are you really this stupid??    you wrote...

"if Brady was the super clutch guy you blindly believe him to be, then why couldn't he get it done in the closing moments of last years SB?"..........and........"No  excuses for the offensive line, no excuses for Randy Moss not coming up with the ball".....

HE DID GET IT DONE......What the heck are you talking about?? seriously, did you even watch that game? you have to have typed that for a reaction, you couldn't possibly be dumb enough to be serious...........Brady did exactly that, with 5 minutes left on the clock he takes his team down the field,  in the face of a relentless Giants pass rush, going 7-9 and the go ahead touchdown pass...to.. go ahead and say it with me.....Randy Moss....He left that field with 4 minutes left in the game and gave the defense a 4 point lead, once again adding to his legend of clutch play......he can't help it if the Giants made like 4 miracle plays when they had the ball on their final drive, he was on the sidelines Einstein...........

Patriot fans living in the past, Where do you come up with this??really, ? Nobody's living in th epast, we're just to excited about the future, and in that future, the Patriots will hand your sorry team an as- whipping ,       I can't wait for THIS season to start, and kick the crap out of all you haters  teams, whats one more year with the Patriots having a bullseye???......So much hatred and very little common sense...

Brady has two more rings.

And Manning has ALWAYS had Marvin Harrison. Then he won it with Marvin Harrison AND Reggie Wayne. Not to mention a nasty Dallas Clark and Dominik Rhodes playing the game of his life while Rex Grossman played the worst game of his.

Saying that Brady doesnt deserve #1 is stupid and ignorant if you are giving that title to Peyton. If Peyton was that good he would have beaten the charges without his sick nasty recieving core. You know...kinda like how Brady won his first 3.

wow this has been so enjoyable to watch all the jeolus fans of the game wish they had brady  the reason brady got beat up in the super bowl was because

A. the Giants front 7 is pretty nasty

B. Sammy Morris was hurt and didnt play which left maroney as the only viable running back and he is a panzy and doesnt like to pound the middle ... unlike morris

C. the O line was being rushed constently because of the one sided offense that the Patriots were throwing at them

AND GUESS WHAT

he (like everyone else said) handed the pats D the ball with the the lead

BUT Ellis Hobbs CHOKED

i cant wait for next season welker moss and brady and our new inside linebacker is guna make Adalius an outside linebacker which is just going to be nasty to watch him do what he does best

One of the other posts pointed out that before 07, Brady's career productivity was similiar to Troy Aikman.  He had never thrown for more than 28 touchdowns in a season, in 07 he exploded for 50.  This spike in productivity is a kind of statistical freak event that was only possible because the Pats acquired Randy Moss.   Moss is on pace to shatter Rice's NFL records for touchdowns and equal his record for yards.  Every quaterback who's ever played with Moss (with the exception of the QB's in Oakland) had their career year with him.  Look it up; and it's not a coincidence.  The point is not many analysts consider Aikman as the bext QB of his era, at least not better than Steve Young.  Simply because Aikman's teams won more Super bowls does not in itself make him a better QB, much like Joe Theisman isn't better than Dan Marino because the Redskins won Super Bowls in the 80's and the Dolphins didn't.  Based soley on career productivity, Manning is the best QB in football, and it really isn't that close.

Based soley on career productivity, Manning is the best QB in football, and it really isn't that close. Once again, this is not a top 50 list of career statistics.  This is who will be better in 08.
