New York would then select UCLA's Russell Westbrook or Eric Gordon with its newly aquired No. 5 pick and Italy's Danilo Gallinari with its No. 6 pick. <!-- end free preview text -->
good stuff flipluva,i'm really hoping to land gordon if we can't get our hands on mayo i think gordon's outside would benefit us tremendously and i'm just not sold on westbrook although i think he is a solid player those guys that shoot up the board all of a sudden scare me a little.as far as gallinari i'm really on the fence with this one i'm of the opinion that the europeans are all soft(sarunas marcilonis and ginobli maybe exceptions)soft albeit very good perimeter players and that doesn't sit well with me especially when this kid is a big guy at least in stature.i know alot of people will be whining if the Knicks trade lee but look at it like this lee is a hard worker and most of his points come off offensive put backs and hustle plays but in my opinion we need more out of the power forward position and with zach's big contract lee is the only chip to get us something remember the Kings wanted to give us artest and we shot it down, all i'm saying is your not gonna throw the ball in the post to David Lee so he can operate against the bigger power forwards in the league so just go get a young talent and go from there.now remember i like david lee but i'm not ready to annoint the next big allstar.
Personally I would rather have Rose, Beasley, or Mayo instead of having both and 5 and 6 picks. Those three are the only real deal players right now and nobody knows where the other players in the top ten are going to go because none of them are that great. They should trade up in my opinion.
the Knicks just dont have the chips to get any higher than the top 3. chicago is pretty much a lock to get rose. reports have miami possibly trading down but i think they will draft beasley and trade him after.
Tinsley is good but he is not the calibre of player that Crawford is if we are thinking of trading Crawford than I think that we can get a top tier player with the package of Crawford and Randolph or Lee.
