As for Shaq, he's obviously still hung up on something.  I know he was freestyling, or trying to at least, but he's got to move on and worry about running the length of the floor next season instead of running his mouth.  That's YOUR boy Chrisper, what's the deal? lol 

Shaq is always going to be acutely aware of his legacy and greatness of the NBA.

Since Jordan retired, only 3 players can claim to be anywhere close to MJ's level of NBA immortality:  Shaq, Duncan, and Kobe.

Shaq wants to be known as the greatest player in the post-jordan history.

1) As long as Duncan doesn't end up with 5 rings, Shaq can argue the that Lakers won more head-to-head battles.

2) As long as Kobe never wins without him, Shaq can argue that he won without Kobe.

SHAQ TREATS IS ALMOST LIKE A POLITICAL RACE...HE CAN SLING THE MUD TO KNOCK DOWN HIS RIVAL'S LEGACIES ANYWAY POSSIBLE.

Duncan is too quiet, too nice, too clean and too boring a target.  He is off limits as the public would not like a character attack on Duncan. 

Kobe has a little more of a checkered past so Shaq can open up his negative campaign ads.
