Does anyone else think that C.B. is just a lot talk and hype. I mean come on, you lose to a true rookie not once but twice with the same move.....what a joke he is. Just my opinion.

I won't go so far as to call CB a joke. However, if he had the heart and fight inside him Amir does he could be dangerous. Even though you're correct about Amir being a rookie, give the guys some credit. He beat some pretty experienced fighters to get there and he did it after getting beat for most of those fights until he worked his submissions to come out on top. Give him some time to work on everything and he will be a great MMA star. I was rooting for CB throughout the show, but he disappointed me towards the end. You're right he could be a little more humble because he's certainly not as good as Dana and the coaches wanted us to believe.

I agree that C.B. was over-hyped on the show by Dana and Rampage. But I do think the guy had loads of talent and potential. On the show he was talking trash to Rampage, so they rolled. And then C.B. went on to tap Rampage out in like 30 seconds. That's talent. He's a Division I All-American wrestler, and we all know how collegiate wrestlers tend to perform in the UFC (Josh Koscheck, Rashad Evans, Jon Fitch, and some guy named Matt Hughes just to name a few).
I think we'll see Dollaway again, and I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up making some noise in the UFC. He's still young, but Dana might want to wait until he hypes him up any more.
And I'm very happy Amir beat him again. Amir's the man.

I think that may have been the problem. He's obviously got the skills to be there, he just seemed way too confident, even after he lost the first time. With the exception of Jeremy "the D-bag" May, C.B definitely seemed to be more boisterous than the rest of the gang. I still think he's a good fighter and will only get better.
On the flipside, I was disappointed they didn't show Matt Brown's fight Vs Matt Arroyo. I like Brown's toughness and heart and wanted to see his rematch against a good BJJ guy like Arroyo. He finished him this fight like he finished him in the first fight though. Congrats Matt Brown.

CB is an amazing talent and that is his main problem. I'm sure that in most of his fights he is just better than his opponent. We saw that on the show. But when he faced a guy that wasn't amazed by his talent and was able to hang on, he got sloppy. Amir is crafty, can take a shot, and is relentless. (sounds a little like his TUF coach)
CB may get better, but it isn't skill that he's lacking. It is cage psychology and I'm not sure that can be taught by anything but experience. Amir was CB's perfect foil. Watch, the Shogun-Forrest fight and Brock Lesnar-Frank Mir and you'll see the exact same scenario. Craftiness is a skill in UFC that can take you to the top.
I was cheering for Amir from the beginning because he's a local guy (let's hear it for the Old Dominion!!), but they way he fought made won me over as an Amir fan no matter where he's from!
Excellent season!

I couldn't agree with you more. C.B. is a chump. You think a fighter that says they are so great would learn from his mistakes and losses. Guess he is just another retarded meat head that thinks they are unbeatable.
He also looks like a fish.
Kind of sucks Dana kicked JT out for 1 night of being drunk and dumb. Like Dana never did anything stupid in his life before. Probably would have been a better fight with JT in there. Oh well.

I agree with Dana's mind set that a guy kicking windows out of Limos and getting hostile with security while yelling "I'm an "F"ing UFC fighter" isn't how you want your organization to be represented. I understand his decision, and don't really argue with it a whole lot. But if that's the criteria you use for one guy, why not use it for everyone?
Jon "War Machine" Koppenhaver got into a dust up outside a club, choked a guy out, then slapped him in the face while he was unconscious. To top it off he thinks it's a big joke http://www.ufc.com/index.cfm?fa=fighter.detail&pid=727 as you can see in his answer for his favorite technique. Personally I think a professional fighter using his expertise to fight on the street is a pretty crumby way to represent the organization. But did War get penalized for his actions? Not at all.
It's fine to have high standards for your fighters. It helps weed out the punks that will represent the sport poorly. But have the same rules for everyone. I think Jesse Taylor is a pretty straight shooter who just gets out of hand when he drinks too much. Hopefully we see him again and he stays away from the booze...it turns him into a different and much more immature person (see the episode of his fight with Tim Credeur...he urinated in his bathing suit on the carpet).
