Alright, Cubbies win again, they have shown they can win in multiple ways all year, and again in this series. They can live off the solo shot homeruns and win, and they can live off of rallies and win. They can win high scoring games by a solid margin, and they can win close scoring pitching duels.

Man that was a great win today though, lets get the sweep tomorrow and ensure ourselves a tie of the season series.

oh btw, i remember a bunch of sux fans and sausage lovers saying "oh the Cubs only have a great record cause they have hardly played any away games." Well  I do believe the cubs are around 19 games over .500 and i think they have played like 36 road games and about 40 home games, seems rather balanced to me and they are still holders of the best record in baseball. After catching up on those road games. Now what is the excuse going to be?

Yeah, the White Sox had a long way to travel on the road to play the Cubs. Seriously, sdfananduciafan, you need to take a good look at the road standings in MLB this year. Only five teams have winning records on the road and two of them are only one game above .500. The Cubs are just a little under .500 on the road, .500 being what you strive on the road trips. The White Sox haven't had any better success on the road. The Cubs only had one game on the last road trip where they weren't really in it right up to the last inning. I'm not sure what you've been watching this year but it hasn't bean major league baseball. Instead of being a parrot, do some research before making idiot statements like this one.

I'm pretty sure he was talking about winning close low run games as well as slugging high scoring games not simply playing at home

I'm not a fan of either team, but I would have loved to heard Ed Farmer crying in the bottom of the 4th.

I'm just tired of the parrots coming out and blathering about winning on the road. Check the records, not many teams doing well on the road this year. Last time I checked the team with the best record gets more home games for playoffs. The Cubs are sitting good in the National League so far. Let's keep winning. Go Cubs Go!

And seriously, the Red Sox are 4 games under .500 on the road (same as the Cubs) and I don't see people criticizing them
