Could someone answer a question for me. I haven't lived in the great state of Virginia in 15 years, so maybe I'm out of the loop. The closest University to me is Tennessee. For the past few years I've had to listen to people in this area gripe about a coach who has only won an average of 9 games a year, won one national title, and brought stability to a program in an age where that's almost unheard of. I'm no fanboy of Phillip Fulmer, but geez.... Does that kinda of talk go on in Blacksburg? Every time my beloved Hokies blow a game that they should win, I have to hear the local Volunteer fans tell me how we need a new coach. I'll be honest, it embarassed the crap out of me when they blew a 21 pt. lead to Georgia two years ago and last year when they didn't even show up until the second half in the Orange Bowl, but without Beamer who even knows where we would be?
