I'm a Big East fan.... but whoa, Louisville at #2 ? Do you not realize Gary that they lost David Padget over the summer and they're starting a good freshman that will not be as experienced as Padgett or be able to provide the same leadership ?

I don't get how you can have the Cards ahead of the reining Big East  champions, the Pitt Panthers and even ahead of Connecticut for that matters. They're both going to be better than the Cards this year.

25. Arizona

It's crucial that Brandon Jennings is cleared by the NCAA to compete as a freshman, and that hasn't happened yet. But assuming everything is OK there, everything will be OK in Tucson, where a core of Jennings, Chase Budinger, Nic Wise and Jordan Hill should make Lute Olson's return enjoyable to watch.

I think Jennings will be a big factor this year in the way Arizona plays. I think he'll do a fine job and fill the role of Jerryd Bayless who left for the draft. I'm wondering if a Pac-10 fan could come forward and tell me their order of finish this year for their conference. I haven't seen too many predictions for them this year, and I'm just curious to see them.

Sorry Louisville fans...........nothing personal, but there is no way on earth the Cardinals should be ranked #2 in the nation, preseason or not.  That's just crazy.  Yes they are good, but come on!

I don't see why you all would complain about this.  I mean honestly, if you think your team is better, wouldn't it make more sense for you have UL high so that you can be the one to knock them off?  As far as next season's ranking for us, I feel we'll probably be in the top 5, but not exactly sure where.  6, at the highest is what I'm thinking.

He has 3 Big East teams in his top 5 plus Duke? I am a Big East fan, but do not see that happening this year. I believe Pitt is the class of the Big East this year. We shall see starting this fall.
