On a side note, I fancy the TV guys for the Giants.  Pretty funny stuff coming out of there. I agree,  Duane Kuiper and Mike Krukow (Kruk and Kuip) are funney.  Kuiper is so smooth,  and Krukow is very funny,  "erasing" rival fans in the stands by scribbling over them on the telecaster,  lol!  One of Kruk's favorite sayings,  when an opposing player whiffs,  is "Grab some pine,  meat!"  funny stuff.  And of course on the radio the Giants have Jon Miller,  who is consistently good.  Young Dave Flemming is on the radio with Miller,  and on Wknds when Miller is doing the game of the week,  and he is very good,  smart and funny,  I hope he stays with the Giants for a long time.  Too bad the team they cover is so sad.

Al Hraboski thinks he was god's gift to Cardinals baseball.  He and Dan McLaughlin get too distracted talking about random crap to focus on the game.

Mike Shannon is great though, except for he is hammered by the 7th inning stretch

Red Sox play by play guy, Don Orsillo and color guy, Jerry Remy is the best combination I've ever heard since Fred Cusick and Johnny Peirson did the Bruins.

Pat Hughes on the radio is the best radio announcer I've ever heard..Loved him when he shared the booth with Bob Uecker.  The guy the Crew has now, Jimmy Powell is not too bad either.

Most of the Yankees announcers are very good.

Michael Kay is awesome, Bobby Murcer(although he's done only a few games this year due to his illnesses) is great, Kenny Singleton is OK, David Cone is pretty good, Paul O'Neill is very good, and then there's John Flaherty...awful, just awful.

The radio announcers........no comment.

But the title of worst announcers in MLB goes to *drumroll*.........DeWayne Staats and Joe McGrane for the Rays. These two clowns are just horrible. The two biggest homers in the sport, no objective insite to the game, are always laughing about something stupid, and look at Staats. Tell me he's not stuck in the '70s! http://mlb.mlb.com/images/2004/11/0

The Rays announcers think the Rays will have the best team in baseball for years to come....

Another Giants broadcaster who has emerged on the local scene is F. P. Santangelo,  who is very very good.  Funny and not afraid to criticize boneheaded plays,  and there are plenty of these in any Giants game,  usually by Giants.  F. P.  has taken over from J.T. Snow,  who was doing some color earlier in the year and was boring.
