I was looking at the preseason polls (which for the record, I hate and think they shouldn’t exist), and I was thinking up all the different scenarios and upsets that could play out this year.  Yes, I will admit that I was mainly looking to figure out what needs to happen in order for my Gators to have a shot at the title, but that is not the point.  I started looking at schedules for the top 25 teams, and I looked at USC's over and over again.  How is USC going to lose this year?

@Virginia

#1 Ohio State

@ Oregon St

#21 Oregon

#17 Arizona St

@ Washington St

@ Arizona

Washington

California

@ Stanford

Notre Dame

@ UCLA

This is completely not a jab at the Pac-10 and/or USC's strength of schedule.  I am asking a serious question because unless you are a Trojans fan, you need them to lose sometime this year!  The OSU game should be a good match up.  But being a home game for USC, I’m thinking the Trojans are going to run away with the game mid third quarter.  Stanford has been the cause of some USC woes in the past, but I see Pete going out for blood this year.  I know that UCLA is a rivalry game and anything can happen that day, but on paper, USC should pull out a victory.  Will the Trojans dominate this year, or will they fall out of the running towards the end?

Again for the record...this was not meant to be any kind of "Pac-10 sucks, SEC rules" thread!

How is USC going to lose this year?

Ohio State of course .

ha.. I think it will be a great game... USC might have the advantage because its at home.. we'll see.

Other than that... I dont know. Arizona St. may be a little tough but USC should win.

If USC gets by Ohio State, I look at Arizona to be their slip up game. USC has one every year and it has really kept them from being a football dynasty this decade along the lines of the UCLA teams in 1960's and 1970's.

Washington was a problem a little for them last year also... UCLA with Norm Chow as the Off coord he knows Pete Carrolls system also plus it is a rivalry game so that game is always tough.

And of course OSU! :)
