This really makes no sense.  First, the thing with he supposedly getting beaten up and taken from his room is suspect at best.  As others have mentioned, a beaten up person getting carried out of the casino without being noticed is probably not even possible.
If I was robbing someone and I got all of his cash and jewelery, why would I then (even if I thought I could get away with it) carry this 6'4" knocked out guy to my car?  Why not just leave him there KO'd?
I don't know if he is married or not, but maybe he got lured by a female and set up.  Then he made the story up so his wife wouldn't know the real truth behind it.  That would explain him being caught without friends and off the strip.

This country takes to much crap from thugs. It's a shame all these star football players are getting robbed and beat down. I heard 3 former Miami (Canes) players were robbed in the last couple of years, not including what happend to Shawn Taylor who was killed last season. We really need to come down hard on Thugs and gangs in this country. When you find Gang memebers on the street who have been locked up a few times then they need to keep them in Jail and throw away the key, We don't need people in our society who do these things. They should get one chance and if they are locked up again then throw away the key. These people who do these things will get out and do the same things again, that's why they have long rap sheets. Enough is enough, put 8 in a cell if you have to but keep them off our streets. This is why I never vote Democrat, they are to easy on crime. If it was up to me they would be LUCKY to have a 2nd chance and they should be able to be whipped in jail and eat bread and water with NO weight room or TV. All these thugs are going to Hell after this life, RATS!

If someone goes off and leaves their front door open while he is at work, they don't DESERVE to be robbed, but they could have prevented it.

I don't consider Javon to be at fault, and I certainly don't think he deserved what happened, but you have to be smarter than that.

The first time you read about Jerome Walker being found unconcious and everyone wants to think the worse. So the guy was out having a good time at a bar. Last time I heard it wasn't illegal to have a good time. The champagne spraying might be a little out of hand but I didn't hear about anyone complaining. At least he had enough commen sense not to get behind the wheel of a vehicle like others.

First off its Javon Walker, not Jerome.  You're right, it is not illegal to be out having a good time but that doesn't mean he shouldn't have been smarter about it.  Neither you nor I was there so we don't know what happened for sure, but it sounds like he drew attention to himself, which is never a good thing when you're wearing 15 carats of diamonds and carrying wads of cash around.

Very well put!  I do agree that many athletes need to start understanding whethere or not they like it ... they are under a microscope, all the time!  I hope that everything turns out well for him ... but, I surely wouldn't be surprised if we do not hear his name in some other incident in the future.

my bag, bra

of course a classy dude like Walker, when he's out doing such a classy thing as spraying champagne around a bar at 2 in the morning, would only use a classy  champange like Dom. the man is top shelf all the way!

If you swim with sharks you will get bit.

You cant expect to be a high profile star that makes millions of dollars and flash it in public. All it takes is one dummy to see you and say, i want that and i can take it. Then they follow you out, lay you down and take what they want. Its like that every where. Envy and jealousy makes a dangerous combination. Then guys now have to rub it in and where houses around there neck. The average person wont see the money it cost for a chain like some of these stars have in 5 years of working, not to mention there watches and rings. You have to just be smarter then that. Dont flash what you have and blend in or grow up a little bit and if you must go out, go to a high dollar bar or an exclusive place where the envy and jealousy level is not so high. That goes for all of the people that find there selves in this same boat. Its really not that hard to think before you act. It took a while for me to learn, but i did and i have less problems when ever i go out now.
