Is there anyone out there in the racing community that thinks One Chassis, One Engine plant Manufacturer and one Tire.....well, throw out the tires...Are you getting my point? I haven't been this UN-INTERESTED in American Open - Wheel racing since the split...If anyone can enlighten me on why I should continue to watch a bunch of Honda's run around Indy, Please do so. Mabye I'll start watching the Barber Sabb Series re - runs.....Gimmie a Ford, Toyota, Pontiac, Chevy, Lexus, or any Euro engine Plant please....Parody at its WORST = IRL!!!!!

While I would like to see more than one engine and more than one chassis, I haven't been this INTERESTED in American open-wheel racing since I was a kid. To me it's the most competitive racing series out there, part of that is because there's one engine and one chassis.

While you guys are throwing Tony George and the IRL under the bus, take a look at the article below.  Very positive things are happening in the IRL.  If you can't see that, then you are not looking at it objectively.  As for Honda, I applaud them for sticking with a series that was becoming irrelevant to most of America.  If you read the article, you will see that they are trying to bring in other manufacturers, but Honda isn't going anywhere.  Just like the stock market, they bought in low and now deserve to ride the highs.

It's nice to see the open wheel unification, but I would like to see a second or third motor and chassis manufacturer.  I'm not expecting it right away, but in a couple of seasons I'm hoping for it.  If not, well, let's just say it might start to get a little tired.  But for right now, it's nice to see how good things are going.
