A's Is The Place

This is an entertaining A's squad that occasionally provides a bit of pop with their bats. The "Duke" has provided a very nice start in a new spot as a top notch starter.

The D'Backs have been struggling and will get 'Byrnesey' back soon. Thank goodness that the West is the least. Watch those Padres.

Thank you to  Billy Beane. Your efforts in retooling this squad each and every year makes the efforts as a fan highly enjoyable.

What a game! Not too long ago I thought the D-backs pitching staff was one of the best in the majors... It's surprising how bad your pitching staff looks when the guys with the bats aren't swinging them well.

These A's are a blast to watch. I think we have just enough veterans to help all these young guys figure things out. they really play the game the right way. I'd like it better if they put the runners in motion a little more. But I really shouldn't be complaining coming off of a 15-1 White-washing of the D-backs. Maybe we need to play more interleague games???

 Good game guys. Your A's are an exciting team. Before you get ahead of yourselfs remember D'Backs DO have a great pitching. Webb wont get hit like that again for a few years.

A's sure brought it to us. D'Backs still take the series though. We are scuffling right now; but dont take kindly to being embarassed at home. Turnabout is fair play. Tonight it's payback time.
