Im going to say they will win 8 games this year, but some of the folks on their board are saying up to 11 wins!  So, which of the two extremes do you see as more likely for the Noles?

Western Carolina, Chatanooga, WF, Colorado, VT, Clemson, BC, Florida

@Miami, @NC State, @GT, @Maryland

I agree with you AO

The noles are looking like a 7-8 win team this year. A lot will be shown with those games at Miami and with Colorado.

allorange, I see at least 4 losses on that schedule, and so the 11-1 scenario is too extreme. 9-3 would be my highest win/loss total this year for the Noles, with the losses to Us, Florida and the Hokies.

i think they could go 9-3, so im right in between those two, but i see florida state falling rather than climbing up, so i still put 5-7. you never can tell which of their players is going to decide to get arrested or suspended next.

I agree.  I put 5-7. I think the defense is good enough to get them there, but I have no faith in Ponder or DW to do the job a QB.  Smith is good but he cant carry the load at RB.  I dont think either is likely, but 11-1 is close to impossible so im going to have to take the under.

allorange, I just cannot wrap my head around Weatherford. When I watch the kid It is obvious to me that he can play at a high level, just seems to drop his effort level from time to time. All the blame can't be thrown on Drew though, as the O-Line at FSU has been weak and weary for a few years now. The prognostications are that he is in a fight for his job with the other guy, Ponder, but do you agree with this , or is it that Papa B is allowing the scandal to try and light a fire under him? Purely speculation on my part....

who knows.  he did lose his starting job to XLee a few times, so im not going to say its all motivation.  the thing that has to be irritating for the fsu fans is that dw doesnt have to be good, he just has to not suck.  example - will proctor - we would have been a darn good team if he could have been decent, but no one respected his ability and it cost us.  as long as ponder can take care of the ball, he can be successful at fsu.  the skill players are there.
