Remind me... what Chicago baseball team was sitting at home with the 4th worst record in the AL, and tied with Cincy for the 7th worst record in all of baseball last October while the other Chicago team was in the playoffs? Talk about useless. Oh, and what team had a 17-12 record in that supposedly useless period the Cubs are linked to... while in the throws of a pennant race? Wait... how could that team be useless by September if they had their division lead on September 1... followed up with the second-best record in the MLB for that particular month?
You know what's useless? Your charade of intellect and logic relying upon silly quips of the past that could very well sum up your own team... and much more often than the team it's designed to insult. After all, the Cubs have made more World Series appearances than the White Sox. They have a better record overall since the White Sox were granted the right to play at the Major League level. They've won their division more times than the White Sox have... and have more playoff appearances. The lone thing that White Sox fans can boast about is a World Series win from a few years ago. Anyone with half a brain and a minimal knowledge of the game can see that the Cubs may very well change that this year.
But hey, we all know that White Sox fans are nothing more than envious individuals who think they know everything about baseball... but very few do anything more than fret about why they're not worthy of being a Cubs fan. Afterall, why would you guys worry so much about the Cubs if you truly were White Sox fans? Wouldn't you be more concerned with your own weak team when the Tigers and Indians begin to wake up... like the Cubs and Yankees did about this time last year? You just don't find a lot of Cubs fans that care one way or another as to how well the White Sox are doing, yet it's rare to find a White Sox fan whom isn't more obsessed over the Cubs' status than their own team's.
2008 White Sox = 2007 Brewers... except the Brewers were a MUCH more talented team... and have a far superior manager.
