I understand that, but I just think it's rather funny that people seem to be all over Tech's nuts and for what, they have a great passing offense and... how is this team any different from any of their other teams.  I'm also just saying it's rediculous to knock a team for it's schedule on one side and then give a free pass to another team for a fairly comparable OOC schedule.  As I attempted to say before, I'm not bashing anyone on here and I'm not here to say that KU is some powerhouse with a ton of tradition and I'm all for giving dues where they're deserved, but until Tech shows that they can hold a decent offense under 40 pts lets hold off on gifing them a ton of accolades.

"on a side note, it's quite amazing when you think about this...

A&M had THE #1 hardest schedule
Oklahoma St. had the #3 hardest schedule

and then comes along Kansas, with one of the easiest

all in the same conference... wow, that's something to think about"

KU's SOS rank 72

Texas Tech's SOS rank 66

and they played the played all the teams in the south.... now that's something to think about

and to K-Nole... As Kansas fans we understand that these types of seasons don't happen much for KU.  Hell I played f-ball for KU when we absolutely sucked, and all I've ever wanted from our team is to be competitive.  So if KU "coming back to earth" and going 8-4 happens this year, I'll be just fine with that.  I'm just saying give the team a little credit, and realize that I'm not trying to talk smack about other teams I'm just saying show some respect for a team that went out and won week in and week out despite the fact that everyone kept saying "this is the week they're gonna lose" and then as soon as they won everyone said "well that team wasn't that good.. wait till next week".  Aside from that I am perfectly content to WAIT AND SEE WHAT THEY DO THIS YEAR!!!

well, the better a team is, the easier the schedule should read.  i mean, that's just logic.  Oklahoma's SOS isn't gonna be blown up because, well, they don't play themselves.  But A&M, Baylor, ISU... all of their SOS's do get blown up because they play Oklahoma

don't take me wrong eloveku... i like KU, and i think that last year they had a large part to do with why A&M had the hardest SOS, along with Mizzou.

KU played the weakest teams in the south

TTU played the weakest teams in the north

Poor old Oklahoma St. played the hardest in the North

and really poor old Iowa St. (SOS 27) played the hardest in the south

their SOS's show it

people are just following the trend when they say that the reason KU had a soft SOS and was able to go so far was that they didn't play OU, t.u., or TTU, and the only reason that we shove TTU in there is because that's just how the rotation goes.

but, like i said, don't take me wrong... KU is probably my favorite North team.

and don't let dumb Raider fans go to your head, in my experience they are the most annoying fans of any team in the big XII
