This is a sad day for the Browns. We never will be able to find out what a difference Bentley could have made or what caused the rift in the first place. I do not see wy he would want to leave at team that had stuck by him and gave hime every oopportunity to make a comeback. It would have been nice to see him over at right guard this year. Good Luck LeCharles. Hope you enjoy the $16 million you got from the Browns for two practce plays

There has to be more to this story then we the general public know.  The Browns seemed to have handled LeCharles Bently very well through his whole rehab.  He is a local guy who wanted to play for his home team.  Something has had to have happened to cause this problem between the two parties.  I would really like to know what has gone on behind closed doors.  This guy was arguably the best center in the leauge and if he could come back @ 75 percent he would be better than most in the leauge.  I hope we get more information on this!

I dont understand this either?!?!

The Browns have stuck by him through all of this and now that he is finally getting "healthy"...he bails on them?

This doesn't make any sense to me at all.  I am sure some more information will come out regarding this, very soon.

Go Browns!

A sad day for the Browns?

I think it's just another day in the NFL.

Cut your ties now with him.

They spent money on him and it failed! Nobody could see his injuries coming. Thats the risk you take signing free agents, drafting rookies with high picks.

How much have you gotten back from Brady Quinn? They spent a hell of alot more for him and might not see anything this year either!

Thats the nature of the game. But a sad day? No!

It's a business and things like this happen.

what sucks about it is just when he got back to practice me and my borther were talking baout how sweet the Browns line is going to be with him back at center and moving Fraley back to the right side... it is too bad, and OSU guy too, sad to see him go but we should be fine without him.

This is crazy.  I know he would never be 100 perecent again but why would he want to leave.  I guess all we can do is wish him luck were ever he goes.  I could see him going somewere warm.

I don't understand this move either, there must have been some things goin on in the background that none of us were aware of.  He is a great OL and I wish we could have hung onto him.  Since we cannot, is there any chance of trading him for something?  I know he is a pretty big risk right now for another team, having just come off of such a serious injurry.  I would think we could have gotten a late round pick for him though.  Am I mis
