Eck - the previous greatest ever closer - was still a hell of a closer into his 40s

And Hawk, Charlie Sheen is still good at his age, too, reading American Turf Monthly on the couch in Malibu.

  That "old grey mare" had only allowed 1 run over 26 innings, 27 Ks, an ERA of 0.35, and a WHIP of 0.50 before this series with Kansas City.  How about giving credit to your Kansas City players David DeJesus and Jose Guillen for having the ability to hit their homeruns.  No one else in the league has been able to touch "the old grey mare" this year.

Best proven closer in the game. The only reason Soria makes the all-star team is because K.C. needs a rep, since everybody else sucks. To bad the season didn't end May 1st, the Royals would have made the playoffs.

Yankee fans are so spoiled by Mo's dominance over the past decade that they have no clue what it's like to have a chump like say, Billy Wagner closing games.  Go Mets!
