Chris Jackson  & Gerald Glass - wow that brings up some memories - those guys were amazing with the point totals!!!  Hadn't seen the likes of that in a long time.

My night is complete now that UM is going to Omaha - will be watching the tigers and hoping for a baseball watchin party next weekend with the favs still in it!

OleMiss

UM WINS!  Another shocker that a west coast team doesn't go!?  I was telling my wife that I really didnt care that LSU or UM won before all these folks commented on how LSU is over-rated and that the ACC doesnt deserve its rep.  Like I have said several times, and know that you agree, you've got to play the schedule in front of you.

As far as Hallman:  man, I almost developed a drinking problem because of him, and the Auburn game was one of the worst.  They may have lost to App St (like Michigan) that year or someone else that was another I-AA.

As far as b-ball games, the best game I ever saw was in the Superdome when UNC beat Michigan, the same game Chris Weber called a timeout when he didnt have one.  It was wild.

BTW, Rice is in again.  They may be hard to beat b/c of their pitching.

We all know cajuns know where I-10 is; they hang out there when ever it rains.  Surely Mayor Nagan has got the buses running by now.  After all, a good chunk of their welfare Tiger population is now living in Houston.

rpm818......    WOW!!!   I would like everyone to give this guy two thumbs way up for making fun of one of the biggest natural disasters in American history in which both of my grandparents died.  Thanks for bringing that up on a sports message board.

I'm sure you make USC and all their fans proud.  You are the best!!

ACC and SEC fans complaining is a joke.  Have they ever been on a plane?  Besides to Omaha.

Things have changed for Miami now that are in a conference with a tourney, but Miami headed west every single year at the end of the season as an independent. We would play at schools like Long Beach or UCLA every year (look it up if you want to).

Also, just two years ago we made it to the CWS after going to Nebraska and to Ole Miss for the Supers.

TRANSLATION:   I make biased statements and have no answer to the question that was asked to me.

Let me ask you again:

Tell me why Oregon state should have been placed in the regionals instead of "overrated" Arkansas?  Oregon State (28-24) has an RPI rank of 59, while Arkansas (34-22) has an RPI rank of 33.  (SOURCE:  http://web1.ncaa.org/app_data/weekl

I agree OSU should have gotten in!  They were one of the hottest teams in the country playing right now.
As much as I support the Pac-10, I have to disagree with this one. Oregon State was 8-6 in their last 14 games to close the season. They did win their final 3 games of the season, but they were all against a Pacific team that had 14 wins the entire season.

Oregon State finished 11-13 in Pac-10 play, tied for 6th in the Pac-10 with Southern Cal and Washington. They also finished 28-24 overall. I don't think that is good enough to get into the tournament.
