"The Marion Barber Rule" "The Roy Williams Rule" Whats next??? "The Jerry Jones Rule" Don't put together a winning team!!!! These two rules should not of been put into place. Look at the Roy Williams Rule. He tackles the players. He happened to tackle TO and broke with foot. And now they are playing together and life is good. Should there be a "Donovan McNabb Rule??" Dont piss off TO and throw him the ball!!!! Bottom line is Marion Barber has to get into the end zone and Roy Williams has to stop people from getting into the end zone....Dont limit these players!!!!

Whether we like the rule or not, it does no good to rant and rave and complain. It won't change anything. Hopefully Barber is smarter thatn Roy Williams, and can figure out how to adjust. Roy still hasn't figured that out, and gets called for it all the time -- Just one more reason Roy is an idiot.

I don't think it is going to be called that much since there is going to be so much scrutiny and criticism of the rule. Williams only got tagged with the Horse Collar rule a couple of times last year and probably used the Collar about 15-20 times last year. This rule is also going to hurt players like Adrian Peterson and Darren McFadden who also use the stiff arm when they get into one on one situations with a LB or DB.
It is just another dumb rule to make football a little less physically demanding. I am sure before it is all said and done that at some point they are going to put flag belts on all of the players and they will be playing flag football in the NFL. What a joke this has become. Come on NFL rules committee, I know you guys are trying to protect your multi-million dollar investments, but let them play the game the way it is meant to be played!

What happened to real running backs like Larry Zonka, and John Riggins ect. Two hands on the ball and plow them over, who needs an arm.
