Frank Mir Blows...

Or should I say, Frank Mir would LIKE to blow... Urijah Faber. Faber looked very sharp, fought a great fight, and should be commended.

But Mir should be embarrassed. Next time you could at least try taping down that little chubby you've got for the "California Kid."

DVR is great thing. Mir called out every glancing blow from Faber and only two out of nine soild shots Faber took on the chin. He was so one sided the Faber fans i was with even commented on how stupid he sounded. MIr was a great fighter but he was a sell out tonight. WEC must have deep pockets

Mir is the best color commentator in the sport.  Hands down.  Did he get excited with Faber yes.  Did we all see a Faber we have never seen before?  Yes.  Nobody thought he had a standup game like that.  Was it an unbelievable fight?  Yes.  Didf he get caught up in what a great fight it was?  Yes.  Pulver getting rocked and coming back and rocking Faber in round 2.  It was a great fight and Mir did a great job.  He has been outstanding on every WEC card he has called. 

Mir is going to get a ton of new fans after his season of coacking UF.  He is a great fighter, great coach and a very personable and well spoken guy.
