True Story

so, I move into my new apartment about 3 months ago, and while unpacking, I notice a Phillies hat in the box....I wonder to myself, what is a Phillies hat doing in my things, I am a Mets fan...none of my friends like the Phillies...so I thought to myself, this must be a sign, since the Phillies kicked our ass last September and took the divison leaving the Mets out of the playoffs.  So I kept it, thinking it would be some sort of reverse good luck charm....

....well, now this season comes along, and what happens?  we look awful and Willie ends up on the hot seat.  So, this past Memorial Day, Monday, I had a BBQ so I decided to throw the Phillies hat in the pit.....it went up in flames!!!!

and we have been 3-0 ever since

GO METS!

for however many games remain for any other team in the majors get that amount of hats and burn it...

example: if there are x amount of games left for team y... then you burn x amount of hats that are for team y...

get what im sayin... that way every other team is cursed for the rest of the season... while the Mets are not...
