It's a good thing he redeemed himself later on, but did you see him watch his RBI single that easily could have been a double? He hit it, watched it go over the 3rd baseman's head, and then looked back at the dugout and cheered.  If he would have hit it and ran like you're taught when you play for fun, he would have been on second.  Then, Matsui wouldn't have hit into a double play, it would have moved AROD to third.

He also should have got a glove on that grounder in the first inning...but, luckily, the bats and Moose came through.  That first inning was tough to watch though.  Road wins have been tough, so it's a good start in Minnesota.

Duncan and A-Rod really let Moose down in the first with their D, and he was really getting bled with cheap hits.  Glad to see he turned it around tonight and has been able to really learn to use what he's got.  With Wang, Rasner, and Pettitte going the next three games I like our chances to win the series, if not sweep.

Should have should have should have.....who cares, he prob watched it so he could see if its cought so he didnt have to run with that quad cause its def not right and if you expect him to go balls out with his quad stretching out a single to a double in may your nuts, if they lost by a run yea id be mad about it but the last thing I want is him getting hurt again cause we saw what they are like w/out him...def a good point tho

Beer pong another fool beefing about ARod. Get a gripe, he is the ultimate 5 tool player. All these haters need to watch some Dr.Phil, and get some love in their life's. I am more worried about the the dinger Farnsworth gave up. The Yanks brass should give Edwar and his dope change up a serious look as 8th inning set up man. Oh by the way Red Sox fans still suck.

your right, he should have gotten a double on that play but he did make a great effort getting two off of the weak pop up that dropped inbetween short and center off of guerrier... even though it didn't result in anything

Yeah curseisback, I'm a Yankees fan...that's why I watched the game.  No sh*t he's a great player, it's just annoying that he claps his hands every time he drives in a run instead of running out the play.  How many runs has he driven in his career and he still has to stop, watch the play, turn around and clap, and then run.  Act like you've been there before...he's driven in thousands of guys.  I love what he can do, I just don't like his attitude compared to guys like Jeter and Mo who always look professional.

Since he's been back, we've been winning.  If he can stay healthy and the Yanks make the playoffs, it'll be because of him, and he's got another shot at an MVP.

Dirty, point taken. You are right on that specific play. Yeah Arod can be clownish at moments. But still he busts it to first base on routine grounders.
