WOW, please explain, I haven't known SF to be good ever, Louisville had a couple of pretty good years playing no competition. South Florida started hot last year but finished with a thud! I will give you WV being consistantly above par but no one else in the BE!
South Florida was good way before the Big East...So was Louisville.
I knew you all were going to bring that one up...I'm waaay ahead of ya... ;)
Even though my deep compassion of despising WVU, I have to defend them. With their rushing game they would be able to beat any team except a select few, which they have proved.
Not only WVU but a few other teams are on the rise such as USF,Pitt, Uconn, and cinci, they all have the talent to beat most top notch teams and possible win the confrence.
Kansas Boyd you 100% miss the point. You have every right to know how good the Big 12 is. You however have no right to say that an entire conference sucks when in most years your team would not beat 2/3 of the teams in that conference. Make Sense?
Come on Savant, you're really doing this for comic relief right? You can't be this uninformed can you? USF first D1 game was 1997. The Big East football conference was founded in 1991.
Let's review. You think the Big East is too diluted because it has too many teams. It has 8.
You think some of the Big East teams split time between the Big East and ACC. They don't.
And now you think USF was good before the Big East. They weren't playing football then.
Maybe if I was still in Jr. High or High School that would make sense.
Who cares if my team would win or lose against 2/3 of another conference?
The fact remains that 2/3 of the Big 12 would trounce most of the schools in the Big East in most years.
The fact the I root for Kansas or Texas or Oklahoma or Iowa St does not change the facts.
I am still entitled to my opinion and entitled to express my opinion to whomever I choose and which team I root for does not make my opinion less valid, less educated or less knowledgeable.
So you're saying that: Oklahoma State, Iowa State, Baylor, Colorado, Kansas (most years), Kansas State and Texas Tech would be able to run through most Big East schools every year ?
