What the hell is missouri doing in the #1 seed regional they should be one of the top 2 seeds and you reward them with having to play Miami F that! Florida gets Florida St. and Florida has a horrible record how did they get a bettter draw. I am sick and tired of missouri getting screwed!!!!!!!!!!!!! Miami i feel bad for you too, missouri is a great team and when they are hot like when they played nebraska they are a top 5 team so good luck if MU doesnt pitch Crow against Ole Miss then i will feel super bad for you better hope they can hit him this year b/c last year you didnt look all that hot down in Missouri. But i look for a Missouri Miami final and its anyones game because the way missouri pitches Gibson might be availible there.
I can't agree with the committee that Missouri is the #32 team in the nation. It is ridiculous that they get matched up against the #1 overall seed. Just some other comments about the Big 12...It amazes me that Oklahoma was even invited to the tournament out. A&M picked a bad time to lose 8 out of their last 9. Oklahoma State looks like they should make some noise in the tournament. Good luck to your Tigers in Coral Gables.
Wow a ranting Missouri fan. Don't see that too often. Missouri's RPI was 39th. That means they were lucky to get a 2 seed at all. The team you seem to think got one over on them, Florida, had an RPI of 15. So if you look at it that way, Florida having to play the 4th seeded team in the nation seems less fair than Missouri having to play the 1st seeded team. And to think Missouri plays in the Big XII and has an RPI that low. You guys must have played a crappy non-conference schedule.
so now you are talking about schedule well i think sweeping a top seed overall in nebraska to close the season isnt bad. By the way in that series we won every game by more than 5.
I have about as much faith in the RPI as I do in the BCS. Georgia's RPI is 17, yet they get a national seed? Judging from that, I'd have to say that the RPI doesn't mean squat, so why even bring it up? Obviously, SEC baseball can do no wrong in the eyes of the selection committee.
