I have to agree with Devil David here. Hawai'i should be considered, not only due to the fact that their numbers show, but also because teams traveling there are so distracted by being in paradise they are not focused on the game. I kind of liken it to home team fans partying outside of a visiting teams hotel room all night so that the away team won't get a good nights rest. (Ok, well maybe it is not like that exactly, but you get my point).

Here's your problem, the SWAMP only awoke with Stevie S in 1990. In the 60 years before that from 1930 to 1960 UF had a 53% winning percentage and it was known as ECHO FIELD.....ECHO FIELD.....ECHO FIELD.....ECHO FIELD.....ECHO FIELD.....ECHO FIELD.....
I think 17 years of being the craziest house in the country has given us plenty of claim to Toughest Place to Play.
And what was LSU's percentage back in those days? HeII, what was it even in the 90s?

In my haste to get to the SEC, I overlooked Autzen. Thanks, fresno.
Autzen is incredibly loud, with only 55-60,000 fans.
In terms of volume, I'd rate the PAC-10 as: Husky Stadium, Autzen then the Coliseum.

I have got to remember that i should not go posting right after an argument with my boss, it makes me appear shallow and angry. I apologize for the Autzen puke-inducing comment.
Don't worry about appearing shallow and angry with the Autzen puke-inducing comment, dug - what's a message board for, if not to rant? If I were you, I'd worry more about how ignorant the "WAC-10" comment makes you look.

if PSU would only play a division 1 schedule, I would consider their winning % more seriously. Average numbers over the past decade for PSU--won 75% of home games, 90% of those wins came against cupcakes, 60% of their team has been arrested at one time or another, 19% graduation rate----roar lions roar--hope you can beat Buffalo and Youngstown State at home on a regular basis

I'll be the first to agree that PSU's OOC schedule needs beefening up, but c'mon now. Ask Troy Smith and the Buckeyes how difficult Beaver Stadium can be.

GREAT PICKS,I AGREE ON THE SEC.ALTHOUGH FOR AUBURN FANS,SAMFORD STADIUM IN ATHENS HAS BEEN FAR WORSE THAN THE SWAMP OR NEYLAND .ALTHOUGH NOT MANY FANS CAN CLAIM THAT AS THE GATORS ARE TOUGH AT HOME.BUT FOR THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS ATHENS HAS BEEN TOUGHER THAN KNOXVILLE..

You are so right ,Devil_David, the WAC-10 slight was wrong. I meant no disrespect to the Pac 10 and ALL of its powerful football programs(USC). When the rest of America reads about the left coast conference and its big time football schools(USC), we sometimes forget that there isgreat football being played (USC) out there.
The Pac 10 may once again be right in the thick of the National Championship race(USC) and rightfully so, seeing as how they have contended (USC)nearly every year of their storied historical past. Again, no disrespect to the entire Pac(USC)10.
