I do think that USC will handle tOSU easily, but to state the Virginia game is more intriguing. Come on, are you serious? Playing a team that has been in the national title game (whether they deserved it or not) 3 of the 6 years on paper is a big match up. Now why should USC beat them easily? If you look at the ranking of their defense and their reputation over the last two years it can be easily seen that they have been severely overrated. Two years ago Michigan and Florida destroyed their defense. Look further into the stats and they piled those stats up against teams that were one dimensional or below average in all facets offensively. Last year was the same, LSU moved the ball at will against them and they were the only team they faced that had many weapons. They also lost to Illinois at home and Mendenhall and Juice made big plays against them. Their superstar Laurinitas looked like an average player against those teams. With that said, USC will be tOSU by 3-4 TD’s in Coach Carroll opens the playbook and we all know he never plays scared of anyone. Watch for a repeat of what USC has done in their last two bowl games and what tOSU has done in their last two bowl games. This game should provide much commentary for the rest of the season. GO TROJANS!!
