Wow. At the first OTA, Branden Albert worked out only at Left Tackle. Damion McIntosh was at Right Tackle.

Apparently, the Chiefs are going with Albert from day-one as their starting Left Tackle. I hope he's a fast learner.

A great quote from Herm Edwards in this article, as well: "Brian [Waters] looked at me and said, ‘who are these guys?’ I said this is the team now. He said 'this has really changed and that’s good because it needed to.”

I like this, at first I was thinking they was going to place him at the RT or G position. About freaking time, that we finally stop using young O-linemen as test projects.

Speaking of o-lineman and test projects, i read somewhere than Will Svitek was originally a DE, if true any thoughts on putting him back there?

That is great news and in my opinion the right move as opposed to starting him on the right side of the line then moving him to the left.  Throw him in the fire and let him learn.  If he is able to have a good or even decent year at LT the Chiefs would have a much improved left side of the O line with Albert and Waters there.  McIntosh can be a serviceable RT and we will all have to wait and see where it goes from there.

DeBerg, we do need another DE, depends on how Turk turns out.  Svitek didn't really impress me on the O-line, maybe a move would be a good thing.  I'm nor real confident about Boone playing DE, and we really need some depth at that position, so even if he didn't start, he could give us some depth.  I hope Albert keeps playing LT,  Macintosh would probably do pretty well at RT.  I think we have enough talent to at least temporarily fill in our other guard and center spots.  Overall, we should see quite an improvement in our O-line this year.  I think Chan's playcalling will even help them out.

LOL Boone at the DE spot seems like a run defense. I didnt think he was very quick. And I would expect that Alberts might get burnt on a couple of the first games, but I think it is great to get him in there and have him become what Willie Roaf was for the Chiefs a few years ago.

I don't know where you guys got that Albert worked out at Left Tickle?...

This is too funny...Everyone knows that he is a Guard and we did not draft him. We signed him as a free agent months before the Draft. I was their with Herm Edwards when he talked to Albert at his Senor Day.

Too funny that you think we drafted him. I was their at this Senor Day in Hondurus when he signed a 10 year contract that makes him the high and Biggest paid QB in the league...even more than his best fried and Teamate Mike Vick...

Wait!!! I'm not....

I can't be...

Sorry....Just couldn't stand not seeing some mis-spelled, uneducated, ridiculas posts.
