This upcoming season for the Arkansas Razorbacks will not only be exciting, but filled with mixed emotions...I am posing this question, "Which Would be Worse"...Losing to Tulsa or Ole Miss in Fayetteville? Let me hear or read your thoughts...

Personally, I think losing to Tulsa would be much worse...First, they play in the WAC, Second, they play in the WAC, Third, the whole Gus thing...Ole Miss will have a pretty decent team and at least they're in the SEC...Nutt has recruited very well down there and has a decent QB. It will be very interesting how that game turns out, I believe we will win both games...

Well of coarse it will be harder to lose to houston nut. On his first year at old miss and just after leaving arkansas and on a good note. No doubt arkansas will want to kill old miss.
I don't know if the people in arkansas do, but i don't hate on malzhan, he was just trying to what was good for him and it backfired into a mess.

Actually Tulsa plays in Conference USA, but if you would like to call it the WAC, we can do that too. They actually finished 10-4 (6-3) last year, which wasn't bad. Tulsa and Arkansas use to have a decent rivalry in the 90's, with Nolan Richardson leaving Tulsa to coach Arkansas. I still don't see Ole Miss being a rival in football, after all, they aren't exactly a notable SEC Football Team. If we stop Ole Miss's running game we will win that game. And I don't think Houston Nutt has a D-Mac or Felix Jones to hind behind down in Oxford anymore.
My question is...Houston Nutt coached here for 10 years. Upon his arrival and introduction at Don W. Reynolds Stadium, is he booed by everyone, or is it a mixed reaction, or is he applauded?
Losing to Ole Miss would be worse, after all thats an SEC game.

Losing to Old Miss. Not because of Houston Nutt but beause its a SEC game and also a division game. Although a win against Old HDN would be a bonus.

Especially one that is beatable, even though Orgeron left Ole Miss with more talent that HDN left us. And it would make me sick to listen to HDN if they beat us. We used to play Tulsa all the time, plus they have become pretty good with their relatively new coaching staff. It wouldn't be good, of course, to lose to someone an SEC school is supposed to beat. I don't think they'll beat us, though. Either one of them.

Unless your non-conference loss is to a Divison 1-AA school or whatever they call it now, they do not hurt as bad as conference losses. Here's hoping that we win both games so we do not have to worry about it but if I had to choose I would rather loose to Tulsa than Ole Miss.

I may be of a different mindset, but I just wouldn't be too upset if Ole Miss beat us...It wouldn't be as bad since they are a SEC team. We all know Nutt likes to run the ball, and Ole Miss landed some stud running backs...they actually have a decent QB in Jevon Snead (transferred from Texas) who has speed (we ALL know Nutt will turn him into a RB or WR...LOL) There is just something that I don't like about Gus and the Springdale crew...maybe it's the fact that i went/grad. from a rival high school and am used to beating Springdale down, or the sense of entitlement that those fellas had...nonetheless, I don't want to lose either game, but if I had to choose, it would be Ole Miss.......

I think that Tulsa would be easier to take. Hell they're probably much better than Ole Miss anyway so it might be understandable.
Even in a rebuilding year (I guess that's what we should call it), we should handle Ole Miss. So if we lose that game...it would be down right embarrassing. To lose it with your former coach....unbearable.

Tulsa is NOT better than Ole Miss. I'm sorry, but all these Arkansas fans are just dissing Ole Miss because we got your coach. I think we are going to surprise some people this year and win five or six games. I hope we beat Arkansas and shut up all there cocky fans.
Not to say most of their fans are cocky, just some. I'm talking to you weedog!
