The Best D In Are Div??

I actually think we have the better D in are Div.We have a great linebacking core,that I would rank 7 among Nfl teams..Hopefully with the addition of either Spikes ,or Trotter would push us close to the top.Then two great CB's in Nate,and Walt gives us a pretty good pass defense .Addding SS Lewis,and either Roman ,or the rookie smith at the FS spot.Are pass D is shaping up pretty nice!Are D line seems to be ok, hopefully adding Balmer and Justin will give us a better pass rush.Overall are D seems to be the best in are Div.What do yall think?

	I think we have a chance to be a top 5 defense this year with the the additions of Justin Smith, using him to his full potential, and the drafting of Balmer, and a eager Sopoaga, plus an experienced Willis, and a yr. rested Lawson, offenses be prepared cause we have if not the best up and coming YOUNG defense, were in the top 3, because the only old person is Mark Roman and Walt Harris and we have good young players behind both of them, so this d will be good for now and many more years to come BARRING Injuries (GOD Forbid)

	i honestly can say the niners do and will ave the best D in our division. like this guy just said we can easily be a top 10 D this year- if alex does good and lets them rest we will be a top 5 in the NFL. im ver exited to see willis and lawson-yesss

	Let's be serious. Not a ball has been snapped. Hopefully Lawson will be fully recovered. That was a huge blow to the defense last year. Lawson and Willis would have been quite impressive and barring injury will be this year. The Rams with Carriker and Chris Long are looking pretty impressive on the D-line. Right now it's just passionate fans chomping at the bit. Time will tell.

	Right now the Seahawks have the best defense, because they were the best last year, but the 49ers should overtake them this year barring major injuries

	hey crab tree go to the Rams board if your gonna love them so much. so they have carriker who did WHAT last season? LONG ILL give ya but thats all the rams really have. do they have a great LBhell-o no, how bout a corner-nope, actually id say the rams d is the worse in the division 4 sure. and if your gonna say the hawks have a better D. WOW MAN- your also in the wrong room- we are talking about going into the season abaddon-not last seasons stats. and we would of hung with them last season no problem if we had a decent Q.B, and you know thats true. we will be the best D this season-MARK MY WORDS- the hawks might be able to hang because they have a star at each important position but the rams-WHAT A joke-stop chompin at the bit your self, i dont understand this kind of talk if your a niners fan- WIERD

	another player who everyone has seemed to forget about that made an impact his rookie year is the defensive end Melvin Oliver. he started 14 games his rookie year and played with a non stop motor. he tore his ACL last year before the season started last year and was another very missed player on the defensive line. i think there is going to be alot more pressure on the opposing quarterbacks this year with two whistle to whistle players with Justin Smith and oliver rotating with Kentwan Balmer and Manny Lawson coming off the edge as well.

	I like the potentail for the niners, right now the Seahawks on paper are the better D, however, who is it that is leading them to such a great Defense? Jim Mora Jr. (former niners d coach) Julian Peterson (former niners lb) and Mike Holmgren (former niners assistant coach) so pretty much the Seagurls are just taking the niners players, like the Panthers did back when Seifert was thier coach. I do agree that if the niners sign Trotter or Spikes they have the potentail to be up there with the Bears and Ravens for top LB corps
