if your right ( ball hits fair territory no matter where the hitter is, the ump made the right call) I thought the ump was calling him out because he was OUT of the batters box AND the ball was in fair territory.. oh well, we won, that's what counts
and once again, nice to see DelCarmen hold the lead... wheww, were you thinking 2 run shot , tie game like me,lol?
actually i think it would have been a 3 run shot to give the Brewers a 5-4 lead when he came in -- fortunately that didnt happen though + the Red Sox held on
as for Daisuke Matsuzaka while 7-0 is a very impressive start + a 2.15 era DEF makes him an early cy young candidate he still suffers from "Matt Clement syndrome" imo. he walks too many batters + gets into high pitchcounts too early in the game -- and IF he cant straighten that out as the season progresses its prob going to catch up with him before he can become a REAL cy young candidate (see Josh Beckett 2007).
I am liking that fact that Daisuke Matsuzaka only gave up 2 walks today, that is very impressive! I really like his ERA! Too bad Craig Hansen had to spoil the Red Sox moment at least so far!
