Anthony Fasano.  A Bill Parcells guy all the way.

Having no starting #3 receiver thus far, a mediocre starting WR core, and young quarterbacks, I would expect to see a lot of 2 TE sets. Or at least I hope so.  I think that Martin is our best blocking tight end right now although he can't get open for a pass to save his life.  Peele dropped too many passes last year.  Fasano is a question mark for us, but is probably our best prospect as an impact in the receiving game.  I expect Martin and Fasano to split time as starters depending on what we are trying to do on each down.

Anthony Fasano. Easily.

Expect David Martin to cut sometime in the near future, and expect the battle for backup TE to be between Justin Peele and Sean Ryan.

I agree that Fasano is the front runner.  I also agree that there will be a lot of 2 TE and even some 3 TE sets.  And furthermore I agree that Martin will be released or hopefully traded by season's end.  I am very agreeable this morning.

I hope Martin plays and does well though.  He has little or no trade value right now and that won't change unless he makes some plays.  You'd be surprised at the effect a new system/philosophy can have on some people.  With the proper mental discipline Martin could turn out to be a good player.  And he will learn all about discipline this summer.  It's not fair to evaluate him on last year's performance alone.  And Peele will be given his shot to perform as well.  Run-blocking will essential this year and the TE will be relied on heavily in play action and short yardage situations.

I like Fasano for #1 spot but...

Jerramy Stevens is an UFA in Tampa and has not been signed yet, I would like to see BP and Co. get the guy and give him a shot.

Couldn't hurt to have a 6'7" receiving TE with good hands.

I agree. That could be an intriguing pickup.

I agree. That could be an intriguing pickup. If there is any agreeing to be done in this thread it is to be by me.  Can we agree on that?

How can one agree with that? Since, as we can all agree, you don't agree with us agreeing with anything apart from you agreeing that we can agre
