	should we try to trade for JJ Redick? At Duke he played his heart out played good D and was a GREAT shooter! also he developed his game! we have two contracts that are similar ike's and williams! im up for trading for him for any of those 2 players! like i said before, these two players are expendable as long as o;brien is the coach since for some reason he doesn't play/like them at all! I also like this trade!

	I haven't heard much news from Redick for a long time since he left Duke. JJ might not be a bad move. We do need a pg(even though he plays sg). He could be like a Jason Kidd. Their about the same height and Kidd is a good pg.

	no J.J. Redick is a worse version of Mike Dunleavy both offensively and defensively. We need people that can play defense. Sure he can shoot and maybe avg like 15 ppg in O'brien's system but then on the defensive end he'll give up 30. Teams would just attack him because he can't play d.

	we are already too crowded at sg/sf with granger, dunleavy, daniels, rush, williams, and now graham (who will play well when given the time). i agree with trueballer about redick. i know you all hate shawne, but at least he can play a bit of PF if necessary. and clutch, just because he is the same height as Jason Kidd doesn't mean he will be as good as jason kidd, or that he can play pg at all. by that logic, Ike Diogu = Danny Granger = LeBron James.

	If Redick is as bad as you say, trueballer, then why are the Magic keeping him? what was said is that he is a worse version on Mike Dunleavy, which is pretty accurate. you could say Danny Granger is a worse version of LeBron James, and that would be accurate as well, but that doesn't make danny a bad player at all. the issue is the move wouldn't make any sense for us because we have 1000000 sg/sf's on our roster, so trading for one who would be riding the bottom of the depth chart would be pointless.

	If Redick is as bad as you say, trueballer, then why are the Magic keeping him? Well like cirk said we don't need another sg/sf who wouldn't even play. I'm not saying he's bad because we saw what he did at Duke, breaking records and such but in the NBA he can't even beat out Maurice Evans, Keith Bogans, and Keyon Dooling for playing time. My best guess would be because all of these players can play defense and he can't yet so I think they're keeping him to work on his defense and round out his game.
