As I look at this original list and being a BE fan I am not sure if he has the right comparisons but the fact that he has most of the BE equal to the SEC here and then lists SEC as #1 conference and BE 2nd to last. Doesnt make any sense. I would never say BE is as good. But just going by his list.

- UGA= OSU, USC, Oklahoma, and > WVU, Va Tech
- UF= Mizzou, and > Illinois, ASU, South Florida, Clemson
- Auburn = Kansas, and > Whisky, Oregon, Connecticut, BC
- LSU < Texas, and > Penn State, Oregon St, Cincy, Wake Forrest
- UT < Texas Tech, and > Purdue, Cal, Rutgers, Miami

This whole conference debate is worthless. You all have different opinions on whatever. You can only look at the facts which are head to head matchups IMO.

No for crying out loud it says "SEC is top....not top to bottom better." Now since you have called me out you tell me the purpose of this post ALL KNOWING. Coincidentally started by OSU who lost to the SEC in a bowl game for the 9th straight time. The end of the title of the thread downs the SEC. "Not top to bottom better" or did you forget to read that. If i could class OSU right now i would stick them in a room with Hawaii and no one else cause i think they have the most in common and the likelyhood of people taking them seriously is shaken heavily. Why are you getting upset with me and why does the Big10 care about whats going on with the SEC instead of worrying about how not to get embarrassed by Out of Conference opponents in a Bowl game for a 3rd year in a row? I dont get it. I dont see Texas or USC or Clemson fans saying chit about it or starting threads. Justify why this thread is even posted. I only came here to point out the obvious, but OBVIOUSLY you took offense to hitting the nail on the head. Its called cutting through the BS. Please answer my questions cause despite your disliking of me they are questions OSU and the Big10 should deal with before worrying about the depth of the SEC. GROW UP CHILD!!!

That was pretty much my point. I still love my BE conf but it can't compare to the SEC. I was just wondering why he would make those statements and then have SEC #1 and BE next to last. If you took his comparisons the BE and SEC would be pretty much equal.

Just another 'DUH" thread. This time the premise is that the SEC top half is better than "another conference's" top half but the bottom half is poorer..Well if all teams played and the SEC top half beat the other conference top half and the SEC's bottom half lost, then it still makes the SEC the best becuase they split but BEAT the best teams. DUH!
