In roughly 6 1/2 seasons, Carl Crawford has amassed 1,039 hits. Being that as of now he has had a fairly durable career, I think it is possible for him to play at least 18 years and. So if he keeps up the pace, he should be able to get it, as long as he stays healthy. One thing against him, is that he has yet reach 200 hits in a season, his closest being 194 in 2005. Also he is under .300 for his career batting average but very close at .295. But arguably, he is the type of hitter that will be able steal the cheap infield hits using his legs to beat out throws.
IMO not a chance, def. a nice player but these days if your older you better hit the long ball to DH. Although he does have some POP, as he ages he will lose his speed so unless he is hitting 25+ in 8 years he won't do it.
BTW just an opinion, I did give you a hard time about Moyer and so far I've been wrong
I am starting a Interactive Baseball league on a different website, make an username and it will be GREAT, if you are interested at all just check it out.
If he plays over 20 years sure or he brings his career numbers to over .310 maybe but 3,000 hits is def. a longetivity thing. Hes just way to far behind as of now to project maybe post this again when his at 2000 hits. Point is same could be said for alot of players, projecting 12 more years is tough
