Its way early but from what ive seen ( went to both O Vs D games for each team) Ky is Horrific to say the least on The Off. side of the ball UL on the other hand will actually be improved (If our RB, QB and WR stay Healthy). Defense side wasn't all that impressed with KY's D corners look slow, while UL can only get better which they have (No way to get any worse). I predict a even first half of play but 2nd half all Birds and a 2-3 touchdown win.

Gotta go with Lou on this one. Their is life in our defense (and coordinator) and the offense looks brilliant and more balanced. The real question is how did UK improve from last year? I have not seen much on that front so the Cards should win. The game is a home game too, so there is just too much on UofL's side for UK to overcome and steal a road win.

If Hunter proves he can manage the game UofL will win by 20+ points. I am telling you with no bias ment, I don't care if UofK went undefeated. UofK's offense is bismal, and that is being nice about it. Their D is not bad but, an average D will wear down when points do not go on the board. Mentally it gets to you. Kentucky will get 8 men in the box against them all year long since the QB position is way down compared to last year. Not saying they won't get a few big plays but it will not be pretty. Nor do I feel it will be a good year for them in general. I actually like for them to do well except when playing us. Hell it helps our strength of schedule. It's not going to this year. I look for UofK to have 7 losses this year. I think UofL will have 3, if the D gets in shape by the time BE play rolls around. If not could be 4-5 losses.

Maybe im biased but who beats us this year other than WVU?? KY Not gonna rule it out but not sold on it, Rutgers No way K State not gonna happen. I see us competing with WVU possibly pulling one out because of PJ home field and I know we can beat UConn (should have won it last year). So 9-2 or 10-1 isn't out of the question or a BCS game. Am I a Homer?? Well Ya but my scenario doesn't seem unreachable. The BigEast will not be as competive this year WV seems to be the runaway but they have a new coach and no slayton.

I see possible losses to USF, WVU and PITT. Possible......
If the D does not turn around it could easily get nasty. Homer or not SYR laid the wood to us last year so it can happen. I do think our D will be greatly improved. Not top 25 or anything but a respectable 45-50 range. Which is twice as good as last season. I think Pitt will be the game that makes or breaks our season. I think we can take WVU.
USF, I don't know yet. Those are just the three I see as possible losses. Now worst case, we could see a loss a Cincy as well. Also the loss record I gave also depends on the bowl game this year, who an where will we go? I think UofL will be 10-3 or 9-4 which is pretty respectable, compared to last season. Right now I am looking for 2nd place, however Wanny could again let me down and Pitt under achieves and that has a good chance of happening. Best case we could win the BE, if Pitt chokes and WVU has a coaching change year like we did.
I should have a better grasp of our D after the first couple of games. Lets just hope for a safe season; No major injuries like spinal yadda yadda yadda, No one going to jail for weed in the car and what not. Lets also hope all of the bad apples have been plucked from the tree. I think you will see the swagger back in the Ville. We have the talent, we are just very thin at certain positions and can not take a lot of injuries. Historically speaking teams like that generally tail off toward the end of the season. Lets hope this is not the case.
Go Cards..

Pitt?? I just dont think so because Wanny is not a good coach (In My opinion). I think everyone is labeling that WV win at the end last year as a building moment I dont see it. I think they will finsh 6-6 or 7-5 tops no better. S.Florida lost some key Defense players and I dont see them being explosive on the Offense side of the ball. Who knows what will happen thou its early but I really see us getting it together this year and suprising alot of people and POSSIBLY WINNING the Big East.
