BadgasBadgas gives UW a bad name just for even bringing this subject up. While we live in a great country and enjoy all of it's freedoms, including the freedom of speech, which allows this sort of topic to be discussed openly like this, I find it sickeningly disgusting that any credible discussion could ensue from this.

So in other words, be "thankful" for living in such a great country. And in return for living in such a "great" country, I should "shut up" and question nothing for father Bush shall take care of me.

I don't like beating a dead horse here but this is exactly what a "good", "loyal" American should do isn't it? "Shut up" and support your country, even when you disagree with it. Even when all the common sense and evidence in the world points to the contrary, believe everything and question nothing.

How was this country founded anyway? Was it by people who "shut up", did as they were told and remained "loyal"? Whatever happened to that country?

See, its that type of ignorance that bothers me.

Call it a conspiracy theory or whatever you want, but i truely think that it was staged (known of.)

I remember the day it happened and all over the tv they were comparing it to Pearl Harbor.  Now we all know that PH was staged so that we got involved in WWII.  After the original broadcasts i never really heard it compared to PH.

The Patriot Act gives the govt the ability to do pretty much whatever they want and say that its for your safety.

If the govt can strike fear into your hearts they can do whatever they want and make you think that they are doing it for your safety.

Where will that lead?  Tracking chips?  Stronger gun laws?

The patriate act lets the gov listen in on you conversations, do you really care if the gov knows where you are going this sunday, or when your next date is. no.

The only people that should be worried about the patriot act are terriorists.

First, I didn't ask you to shut up. You have the right to say just about anything, whether it has merit or not. Your entire reply smells of either a spoiled child or of self proclaimed intellectual arrogance...or both.

Or maybe I'm missing the point entirely. Perhaps these references you continue to post shall lead us all to the same conclusion (a conclusion that perhaps only intelligent and open minded folk can arrive?) that we should band together and revolt.

Power to the people! Gonna have a revolution! lmao...sorry for the temporary insanity, but that's the inspiration you've managed....well done! Bravo!

As for me and my rights, I reserve and enjoy the right to consider your opinion on this matter irrelevant and, with the fervor with which you're defending your position, consider your opinions baseless and without a shred of credibility. I can save myself alot of time by no longer needing to read any of your posts.

Even when all the common sense and evidence in the world points to the contrary,

Nothing you've mentioned even remotely approaches common sense. Whether you have an issue with Bush, the US as a whole or what, you have presented flimsy evidence to say the least.

If you honestly think that the US Government destroyed the Twin Towers and the Pentagon you are delusional. How do you explain the Iran hostage crisis, the bombing of the USS Cole, the Lockerbie bombing, the beheading of americn citizens in Iraq if you think the Government was behind this.

Do the US a favor and don't exercise your right to vote. You would be doing the country a disservice.

I truely enjoy how anyone who disagrees with the current POTUS (and his administration) is "anti-American" and "a soft Liberal".

It is about as pompous as anything in the history of this country, and why we need a 3rd party, one not bought by religion and the love of sending other peoples children to war, and one not consumed with special interests and appeasing the minority groups of the US.

The current state of politics in the US is atrocious because of the divisive ax Gingrich swung through it 10 years ago
