Thought I'd post the rankings, as of right now, that the developers have for NCAA Football 09.
- Georgia - 99 overall (99 offense - 99 defense)
- Oklahoma - 96 overall (99 offense - 94 defense)
- Ohio State - 99 overall (99 offense - 99 defense)
- USC - 94 overall (90 offense - 99 defense)
- Florida - 94 overall (96 offense - 94 defense)
- LSU - 91 overall (88 offense - 96 defense)
- Missouri - 94 overall (96 offense - 92 defense)
- West Virginia - 84 overall (90 offense - 80 defense)
- Wisconsin - 89 overall (92 offense - 89 defense)
- Texas - 89 overall (88 offense - 92 defense)
Meanwhile Michigan is looking great at 84 overall (81 offense - 89 defense).

Ohio State's ranking will be scrutinized, especially the 99 rating in offense. This mostly comes down to Chris Wells being the #1 running back in the game, and Alex Boone and Steve Rehring's great overall ratings (96 and 95, respectively).
The defense looks absolutely stacked, with James Laurinaitis being the best defensive player in the game (99 overall). Other high rated players: Marcus Freeman (96 overall), Malcolm Jenkins (96 overall), and Lawrence Wilson (94 overall).
Those are all the ratings I have so far.

So you are basing rankings on a video game to real football--that make sense how. If video games were based on how much success a team would have than tUOS would have won the National Title last year--according to the EA simulations that they did on ESPN. The funny thing is that Michigan, Wisconsin, Texas, and WVU all have about the same rankings.
I just think that it is funny that this is how you are going to base the 2008 season by video game.

Please show me where I was basing next season's results on the video game? I simply stated the top ten teams and gave their rankings in the game.
If the last season was based on the game, no one would have predicted OSU. They weren't a great team last year, a lot of other teams you mentioned like Michigan, Texas, USC, and Oklahoma were far better. So you're wrong there too.
I just want to know people's thoughts on the game. You probably don't even play the game, so why post anything here?

Michigan isn't rated. In the screenshots of the team they also have a black facemask, which needs to be fixed.
Their team only has three players over 90 overall. Tim Jamison, the best player on the team, is a 92. Donovan Warren is a 91, and Brandon Harrison is a 90. Brandon Minor is by far the best offensive player, with an 89 overall rating.
And their not the best unranked team out there. Florida State is absolutely ridiculous. 94 overall, with a 92 offense and a 99 defense. There's obviously some FSU alum working on the game....
BIG TEN RANKINGS
#3 Ohio State 99 overall (99 offense - 99 defense)
#9 Wisconsin 89 overall (92 offense - 89 defense)
#13 Penn State 91overall (88 offense - 94 defense)
#18 Illinois 81 overall (81 offense - 85 defense)
Purdue 84 overall (86 offense - 82 defense)
Michigan 84 overall (81 offense - 89 defense)
Northwestern 81overall (86 offense - 82 defense)
Michigan State 79 overall (83 offense - 78 defense)
Indiana 79 overall (81 offense - 82 defense)
Minnesota 77 overall (79 offense - 76 defense)
Iowa 74 overall (79 offense - 73 defense)

i love the game but, a lot of people must play 15 hrs. a day or something. the last game i played on ncaa 08 (360) was against ecu pirates. i was michigan as usual and the guy just skunked me. i know michigan was an A on off. and a A on def. ecu was probly a C on both sides of the ball and to put 60 points on me by the 3rd. qtr is beyond me. i know im not great, but at the time my record was like 60- 40 his was alot better it was like 200-60 and we were both a 2 or 3 level. imagine if he used ohio st. or usc. and yes there must be a lot florida st. alums working on the game to give them that high of a grade on off. and def. the same for miami (fl.) there always good on the game no mater what.BTW if anyones got x-box 360 my gamer tag is the same as my screen name.........chuck fee...........so when ncaa 09 comes out send me a invite.
