Prophecy thread is on the women'x college b-ball page, entitled end times.  It is pretty quite over there right now, so we shouldn't be bothered too much.

Carolina Blue, my prayers are with your friend and with you.  I am a Pastor and I have found that no matter what the situation is I let the Holy Spirit give me the words that need to be said and as long as I am sure that the Holy Spirit is leading then the words will speak what needs to be said.  Remember Jesus told his disciples that when they didn't know what to say the Holy Spirit would give them the words.  Continue being there for your friend and let your actions speak to her and you will be surprised at how that alone will open up a dialogue that will allow you to speak to her about Christ and her salvation.  I will pray for God to give you everything you need in this situation to turn grief into joy and mourning into dancing and that your friend will realize that she can go from sad and confused to having the peace and joy taht only comes through a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Praise God and may God bless you

I just got a call from my daughter. A friend of hers at work told her that his brother was just rushed to the hospital. It seems someone may have poisoned him. I ask that you please say a prayer for Clarence's brother and in fact, the whole family. His mother has lost three other children of hers in the past few years.

Our Father in heaven, we lift to You Clarence's brother as he is treated in the hospital.  Lord, You know our needs before we ask and You know the truth of each of our conditions.  We pray, Lord, that You would heal this man and restore him to his mother, who has already suffered greatly.  Please Lord send Your Spirit to comfort all and make Your presence known so strongly that everyone will know Your Hand is the Hand that heals and restores.  Lord, if wrong-doing is involved here, we pray that the perpetrator would be found, prevented from further harmful actions, and changed in such a way that harmful actions would no longer be acceptable.  Lord, guide the hands of the health care workers to be accurate and quick and compassionate to restore Clarence's brother to full health.  Draw the entire family near to You and speak to their hearts the assurance of Your salvation and Your care.  We pray in Jesus' name, Amen

Trust in the LORD forever,

Dear Lord, I add my voice to the prayer of my sister.  May Clarence's brother be restored to health.  May his mother be comforted in the crisis, and may she know that the help comes from You.  May you receive honor and glory through the outworking of your intervening on their behalf.  May those who may not know you, be drawn to Your grace and mercy, and find salvation for their souls.

Have mercy, Dear Lord, and provide justice for the one who did this, if in fact, that is what occurred.  We know that nothing is hidden from Your eyes, and nothing is beyond Your reach.  Move the hearts of law enforcement officials, and give them the wisdom to see what they need to see.  Grant this request, I pray, in Jesus' Name.  Amen.

1 Timothy 5:

24The sins of some men are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them. 25In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not cannot be hidden.

Matthew 18:19

19"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.

Psalm 27:1
"The LORD is my light and my salvation--whom shall I fear? The LORD is
the stronghold of my life--of whom shall I be afraid?"

In the middle of the night God seems to whisper and Satan seems to
scream. Pain seems  worse at night; doubts seem to grow about what the future will hold; feelings of being alone increase.  This is when prayer is needed most and also when I pray the most. I am always amazed by the power of prayer.  Remembering the promises of the Father as written in His word and seeking to talk and listen with Him bring the peace back into moments that seem darkest, especially in the middle of the night.  Paul reminds us in Philipians that the peace of God comes when we think on things that are pure and beautiful and of good report.

Lord, I need not be afraid, because you go before me and are the light in the darkest corners of the night. You are stronger than the forces that seek to draw me off the path that leads to peace, to salvation, and to eternal life with you. Thank you for coming to me in prayer and calming my fears with Your steadfast love. Amen
