Not sure this was the right move as Stetter has been dominant when throwing strikes, but those walks will kill ya; especially against a lineup like the Red Sox.

Quite sure it isn't the right move.

Can't help thinking that the hitters are on a much longer leash than Mitch. Two rough outings and he's back in the minors. Forty rough outings by the likes of Hall, Hardy, Weeks & Cameron, and they still stay in the line-up. Doesn't seem right somehow.

Is it just me, or is this a team in disarray right now?

He has 7 walks in his last 3 appearances over 2/3 of an inning. He needs to go down and get straightened out. It's the right move. He looks like he could be really good. Why not get him back to throwing strikes?

I dont quite get why we called Zach Jackson up, hes not even having a good year in AAA.... Why Not Weaver?

I dont quite get why we called Zach Jackson up, hes not even having a good year in AAA.... Why Not Weaver?

Jackson's ERA has to be explained to be accurate.  Most of the damage delivered to him was as a starter.  He has since been moved to the bullpen and has done a pretty good job.  He had an 8.89 ERA as a starter but a 2.91 ERA coming out of the bullpen.

As for Weaver, he's made 3 starts so far this season.  In the first start, he pitched 5 innings and gave up 4 ER's. In his second start, he gave up just 1 ER in 7 innings.  In his last start, he gave up 5 ER in 4.2 innings.  So he's had one good start and two awful ones.

The Brewers also bring in Jackson as opposed to Weaver because Jackson is left-handed and Ned likes having 2 lefties in the pen.  Either way, I don't think Stetter should be out.

Stetter will be back by the next homestand, we just cant afford him to be throwing balls in this BoSox series.... The Sox bat nearly .300 as a team.......So we need all the pitching we can get
