I think he may actually get 23wins this year. His stuff is great and he plays for a competetive team.

I would say Webb ends up with at least 23.  He has been lights out + NL West is so bad at scoring runs it is funny.

At this pace, if he doesn't get hurt I see him winning 23-26 games.

23 or more would be great but it is still early

He is pretty much single handedly making my fantasy team somewhat respectable which is very nice

I think Brandon Webb gets 25 this year, he is getting great support and has been able to right himself if he gets in any trouble. As long as the bullpen can keep up their end of the bargain, he will keep piling them up.

Ok, so if you look at it this way, Brandon Webb is the #1 starter out of a 5 man rotation. The Diamondbacks have played 41 games so far (26-15, best record in baseball!), so you have to calculate out of 45 games when they will get through the whole rotation once more. At that pace, Webb is technically on pace for 32 wins.

BUT, at this point he has won every start, and you know that at some point he will be pitching a good game, yet the offense will stall and he will get the loss or a no-decision.

Also, the Dbacks will be playing a lot more non-division games coming up and the west is obviously sub-par compared with the rest of the league. So Webb will be slowing down quite a bit as far as pace.

That said, I still think he can win 22 games barring injury or major offensive colapse by the Dbacks.

Brandon for Cy Young and All Star Game Starter!

I agree with the 25 game prediction for Brandon Webb. If the Diamondbacks can score runs for him he may even win more.I watched him dominate the Philadelphia Phillies with a six hit complete game shutout in Arizona. If they continue to get production from Stephen Drew , Jason Upton and Eric Byrnes he may even win more !

I'll agree with Twins&Vikings...

The 'Backs are in a very weak division right now...and they have one of the strongest divisional schedules so far in the MLB...once they get out there and play some real teams, he will wind up losing.  I'm not saying he won't pitch good, but anyone can pitch a nice 7 inning, 3 run game AND still lose...

...he's definitely the best bet for the Cy Young in the National League so far...I predict he'll go about 21-8...
