Hey 8-over rated. Should we dig up the threads from the Caps series where you repeatedly stated Ovechkin sucks?

People, chanting Crosby Sucks is just trying to get under his skin. Just like chanting a goalies name, or booing certain players every time they touch a puck. Why bother chanting for a player who really does suck, we don't need to try to bother him.

It's a SPORT, and we are fans trying to get behind our team. I have seen many games  in many cities, 3 different sports, and fans and their behavior are no different anywhere.

Maybe we should chant "Crosby's great, please don't score".

People call him Cindy and girly man for the same reason, to get under Pens fans skin.

By the way, I thought Crosby played pretty good game last night for the most part, set up a teammate for a good look on a few different occasions. But what I have burned in my mind the picture of him moving like he was going to cut in front, a move I've seen him excel at, and pull up and reach for his own shot. He wanted no part of that. Many Pens players played looking over their shoulder last night, and it showed. Did Malkin suit up? Very impressed with Staal, what is he 19? Very strong with the puck.

Pens need to win Sunday, or I think we are looking at 7. Just read that BOTH Timonen and Coburn are possible for Sunday.

First off it goes to show how great the Pens fans are when they cant spell their own players name. Its an easy one too Staal. Its not like Kukkonen or Timonen. Which i dont even know if im spelling right.

steelerfan, Mario, gretzky, yadayadayada...they all played in the "real" NHL not this new NHL where every little hack is called. They didnt drop the gloves is a correct statement. But they never cryed as much as Crosby. So you cant compare that to the players of the past.

redfox, im not sure where everyone is getting this whole philly fans were not here after the losses? I was here every game chatting away. As were some of my others. I dont know where this is coming from, granted we may have had less but would that not hold true for every single sports team out there and there fans? Doesn't every team have those fans that just come out after winning....look at the Penguins fans...they sell out their stadium because they have a winning team but when they sucked they had nobody.

Okay point, explain that to your fellow fans calling for Pens in 4. But also your team was 11-1 in the playoffs it really doesnt get much more Goliath then that buddy. We were 8-7. Also where are you getting this running into the goalie. We barely have touched Fleury this season. If your such a hockey purist you would know how mental the game can be and how you want to get into a goalies head. I would know, im a goalie. I could even go on and brag and say how i won trophies and championships and how im even listed on the Flyers website for making the first squad for the Flyers Cup (big tourny in philly). I know the game of hockey and i know what its like to have people hit me and get in my face and its all part of the game. If you dont like it watch basketball or something.

So maybe us Flyers fans came out of the "woodwork" for a single game....but where were most of you Pens fans when your team was in the cellar. i do recall the flyers being last place last season and still having a top 10 attendance. So now whos really coming out of the woodwork?

Show me where I said Eaton was one of our top d-men.  Please.  I'm sorry you don't remember what we were talking about.  It was defensemen who moved the puck.  Never did I say Eaton was one of our top d-men.  I'm not even a Mark Eaton fan.  You said Philly couldn't get it's offense going because they were missing Coburn and Timonen.  Being a top defenseman and being a puck moving defenseman are completely different.  I simply put that we had lost Eaton, who was PUCK MOVING defenseman, for the entire season and our offense didn't suffer.  I also pointed out that you have to adjust when something like this happens, and that it's much harder to do in the playoffs and gave kudos to Philly for that.  Wouldn't you know in game 4 Philly adjusted for that finally and won a game.  So I guess you're right.  I have no clue what hockey is or what's going on out on the ice.

P.S. Did you even read the post I was responding to?  It was a PHILLY fan (I know, I almost didn't believe it myself) ripping a Pens fan for spelling John LeClaire's name wrong.  But that probably has a lot to do with what happens on the ice, right?

(Jagr has more goals then Crosby, and hasn't played in almost 2 weeks) I think you meant to say he is tied for first in points w/ Zetterberg for 19 points, since Crosby has 15 assists. Sorry were not going to boo or chant someone sucks, that actually sucks. Were trying to get into his head and mess Crosby up mentally. Why would we chant that someone sucks, who actually sucks on a team. What are they going to do, not score or do anything like they normally do??? We do the chant b/c it a sarcastic chant and we're messing w/ that superstar. You want us to chant "Crosby is Great" b/c if we did that we wouldn't be a fan of our home team.
