we know that Wilford, Ginn and Hagan will be our top 3 WR's
but after that, there is a serious competition going on for the 4th spot (and maybe Hagan's)
who do you think will be the 4th WR on the Dolphins roster?
and how do you see the WR depth chart lining up?
WR's competing for the 4th spot:
Justin Whynn
Jayson Foster
Davone Bess
Tab Perry
Greg Camarillo
Selwyn Lymon
David Kircus

I wouldn't be suprised if Hagan gets cut, or gets beat out for the 3rd spot. I do not think that he is good enough to be more then an off the bench player. Frankly, If he doesn't learn how to catch the ball he shouldn't be on the team

I would like to see Bess, Foster, and Camarillo make it.
Not going to lie, Foster adds that extra threat for trick plays, Bess is the most likely to make it and looks like a Wes Welker replacement (Frankly I whink Wes would have flourished in the Parcell sytem, heck he flourishes everywhere), I want Camarillo to make it simply because of his TD catch.

Hmm, Bess has the best shot at becoming an active WR. He might not have acceleration off the line, but has sure hands and can get yards after a catch, something we haven't had in a while.
The other guys if they don't make it as WRs can help out on STs
The three guys I think have a greater chance to make it either as WRs or STs guys are:
Camarillo was brought in as a STs guy last year, but shined in his limited appearance on the line- If he can prove he can show the magic on more than 1 play, then he has a shot.
Foster can be used as a WR, trick play guy, and return man- I think he makes the final roster, though he may not see significant time.
Tab Perry- Played STs for Cincy, and didn't see the field much as a receiver due to their uber talent at that spot. He may bring some experience to the team though.
As for the others, they are going to fight it out to make the roster, but I don't see it really.
And Hagan, may have his days numbered, If Bess or anyone else out plays him, I can easily see him cut.

I think Tab Perry might end up being it, The Bengals were very high on him the only reason he wasent able to produce numbers is because he was hurt. Another thing he is a Big WR so he could help us alot down in the red zone, not to mention he is pretty good after the catch.(ex kick returner)

The only reason any of us know who Greg Camarillo is, is because he had a 64 yard TD catch to win in overtime. without that catch he would have had 7 receptions for 96 yards and 1 TD and played in 4 games.
Not exactly my idea of shining.
I'm not saying that he won't be good, or isn't good, but just because he caught a long TD catch to get the Dolphins their only win, should be the reason that he makes the team this year. He did get the only TD against the Patriots in the end of the year though.
I'm going with Tab Perry because of his size and potential. He might even beat out Derek Hagan for the 3rd spot because that guy can't make consistent catches. One pass too him will be way off target and he'll make a leaping 1 handed catch, then the next play it'll be a perfect pass and he'll drop it. (maybe when throwing to him the QB should just throw off target everytime.)

If Derek Hagan continues dropping pass as he has done in the past... I see Jayson Foster, Davone Bass, and the great Greg Camarillo taking his spot in the roster.
We have a long list of potential "diamonds in the rough" brought in by this coaching staff, and guys who have been here before such as Ted Ginn Jr, and Hagan can't slip because those other guys will be right there to take their spot in the blink of an eye.

Don't you guys think that it is far more likely that the WR corp is going to get some additional help after better players start appearing on the waiver wire before the start of the season? Ginn should be in the mix, but after that, too many question marks. I think we will need at least one solid veteran and still expect that we will pick one up along the way.
