Okay, I was reading an website article and seen that Joe Horn and Vonnie Holiday are both up for cap casualty cuts.

Here's the info:

Atlanta Falcons: Joe Horn, WR

Joe Horn has been a great receiver over his career, but not so much in Atlanta. The Falcons really have a history for destroying the careers of veteran receivers (i.e. Peerless Price), and Horn really hasn't been an exception. With Roddy White finally emerging as the team's No. 1 receiver last year, gaining 1,202 yards and six touchdowns, and the drafting of former Louisville receiver Harry Douglas, Horn seems expendable.

Miami Dolphins: Vonnie Holliday, DE

The Dolphins plan to use a 3-4 this year, with Jason Ferguson manning the middle and Matt Roth as one of the ends. The other end spot is where the competition heats up. Vonnie Holliday will have to fight off newly acquired Randy Starks for a starting spot. I don't see it happening. Holliday loses his starting job, and ultimately his job altogether.

I guess they could be temporary help, until our young guys develop.  But I sure wouldn't spend much on them.  They are both pretty old, and we wouldn't want to sign them to more than a one year contract.  I think you can rebuild, and still bring in veterans to fill immediate holes, temporarily.

I would say no to this.  We need to keep getting younger.  If these guys didn't really do anything for their teams last year at their ages what makes you think they would do anything for us.  Better to take a chance with an unknown than someone you already know is going to disappoint.

No thanks. I'd be open to the idea of both but that would go against everything were trying to do hear.

your right dimedroper187

If the franchise wants to get younger we can't go out and pick up older players, sure Joe Horn and Vonnie Holiday would be good Veterans for the younger guys to learn behind but the Chiefs have to sign all the rookies to contracts first before they think about signing some what big name players.

I actually like the idea, I would actually pick up Hoilday over Horn. It's basically a safety net. I wouldn't play them starting players money but the veterans minimum for their years in the NFL...Also I read that Joe Horn doesn't want to play for ATL because they are not headed into the right direction and he wanted to jump on a team that has a chance of winning a Superbowl...That right there justify is a clue that he wouldn't come to KC. But Holiday could be a servicable LDE, if McBride doesn't pan out...

Sorry Arrowhead816...But i have to disagree
But nice work on the Copy and paste part by the way...I will give you credit on that

For 1 Joe Horn is injured prone
For 2 Vonnie Holiday is injured prone 2

did you even read what Joe Horn said about the Kansas City Chiefs anyways Arrowhead816

He said the only reason he left Kansas City is to get away from Carl Peterson...He said that Carl Peterson does not worry about nothing but him self...What makes you think if i ever become a free agent why in the world would i wanna play for the Kansas City Chiefs again
They guy dont even know how to spend money when he has it to bring in good players
"i will never play for the Kansas City Chiefs again under Carl Peterson"
The day that Carl Peterson is fired...Then i will come back

Vonnie Holiday like only played in like 17 games because he is always injuried

Why would the Kansas city Chiefs want players that are injured prone with back and hamstring injuries for

If anybody else gets injured they might have to call in the Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders to play for them
