Im so glad the Twins didnt trade for Bucholz or Hughes or Kennedy...So far the have been stiffs....Just goes to show the Twins know talent when they see it....Gomez is a far better fit....The Twins thumped the Sox......Bring on the any of those AL East teams...

Wow!  A cocky Twins fan?  Whatever happened to "Minnesota nice?"  They may actually win the division, but don't expect them to get passed the ALDS.

I dont think Buchholz or Hughes were ever offered.

I will agree that the Twin are great talent evaluators.  It makes you wonder how they shipped off BigPillpopper for a  bag of Cheetos.  In Minnesota's defense, they probably were foolish enough to believe that PEDs were illegal and didnt try giving him any so they never saw his "true" potential.

Yea, such great talent evaluators that they got FLEECED by the Rays!  Garza for Young (ZERO home runs this year)!  You don't want ANY part of us Twin fan...none.  Ask the Blue Jays, Yanks, and Angels.

Oh no, the Minnedaks are coming......

Just kidding with ya Brididdy.  You guys did get the better part of that Santana trade, which is why the Sox or Yanks would not make the trade. Twins look strong this year, but I wouldn't give yourself the Central crown just yet. That division looks like it will be "too close to call" before the end of September.

Booooooooooooooooo

If an individual were to make an unbiased estimation as to the likelihood of  PED usage for every player in baseball, Big Pillpopper has sufficient red flags that he'd be in the top 5-10% of likely PED users.

That doesn't mean you should boo him though.

Is it a verified fact that he uses?  No.

Would it be very surprising if he used? No

Does he deny taking PEDs?  No.

Would it be very surprising if he was clean?  Yes.

# 5 - Behind Wake and Lester.????...

How come he was the number 3 when he pitched well a couple of weeks ago?

I guess you re-arrange based on most recent performance

Yeah, Pettite > Buchholz, congrats your #2 (really a 3, but this is NY) is pitching better then our 5.  Woohooo!!!  stick that feather in your cap, where that badge proudly...whichever cliche' you want to throw at it.

Yank = long summer - Arod doesn't help win that game last night.  The whole team sucks right now....LMAO enjoy.

........................
Pettitte's a second half pitcher. Always has been. He'll always put up some clunkers in April and May, but not typically in August and September.

Whole team sucks right now eh? Odd then that they're only 3 skinny little losses between them and the mighty Sox. And I'm not disagreeing-but I am saying the Yanks are going to only get better. Not so sure about the Sox.

I think you're right about the long summer, but I think you might be wrong about the team that's going to endure it.
