Ok, so there is a small chance I might return once in a while, but there comes a time to move on and that time has come for me. I liked the NBA Boards when I first came on. People said a lot of insightful things, things I didn't hear when I listened to the media or read articles by the media. Unfortunately, as of late, a lot of people have just started rehashing things that the media is saying. I am not particularly fond of the sports media, given their tendency to jump on bandwagons, obsession with the short run, very, very short memory, and overuse of cliches.
It's easy to say bad things about teams that just lost or good things about teams that just won, or say things like "you've got to make shots to win games" or "this guy knows how to win in the playoffs." People have been saying stuff like this a lot lately on these boards and it's not worth it to spend minutes, hours a day reading that. I get enough of the media as it is and these boards are turning into media hallowing grounds, so...I'm gonna sign off for the forseeable future....
