	giambi has an mvp and has averaged 35hrs per season Yeah...great...well the last 4 years, he is averaging 23 HRs and 69 RBIs..........when he was putting up great numbers in his prime.....8 years ago....yes, he would be on the list..... Lou Gehrig put up huge numbers also....but i dont think he is the best right now...you know why? because he is f#$%ing dead. go have some more wine coolers......

	Dixon you could have asked this question before Giambi was a Yankee and he still wouldn't make this list. His fielding was never any good and this might be his best year for fielding since he slimmed down a little.

	I think you omitted the best pure 1st baseman in the league Miguel Cabrarra sike.... Right now I think Pujols is and has been the best for 5+ yrs now but the guy I am voting for is Carlos Pena this guy is a stud and is only gonna get better. But Konerko? Degado? C'mon man please!!!!!!

	Its a battle of the homers... I'll throw Joey Votto in. Even though he has 3 errors in 31 games...and is ranked 15th on CBS.
