Lord I pray for you to have a hand in Pastor Betsy's surgery. Father, I ask that you guide the Doctors hands and if it is your will, work a healing in her body. I pray for her family and for a quick recovery. Also, lord, I pray for little Meadow. Father, I cannot question why a young child would be in this condition but I do know that nothing is impossible for you. Father I pray that you touch this child and may all of the glory be to you. I thank you Lord for taking stripes for our healing and I thank your Love and Grace! In Jesus Christ name I pray, Amen!

I will also pray for your pastor and the little girl, Meadow.
I have one prayer request, though. My friend from church, that i mentioned a little while back, is going into surgery. I'm not completely sure when the date is, though. You will probably remember me saying that he had a stroke. Well, he's hardly getting better at all, and it's really hard on his family. Please continue to pray for him&his wife.

My Mom was so miserable because she missed the beauty of W VA. Here she was stuck in this dusty, flatland, dry, hot area of the country, and you know in those days you didn't just jump on a plane to go visit relatives. My Dad had job security there so he did not want to leave. The older I get the more I understand her.

Don't understand it myself, but something about being a West Virginian, I feel obliged to accept your compliment on my state's behalf. Maybe it's because West Virginia is too often associated with some of its more negative qualities than its many positive ones. It IS a beautiful state full of great people.
BTW, Did your mother ever make it back to Wheeling?

Our Pastor Betsy is facing spinal surgery May 19 to repair some degenerative discs.
The second request is for an 18-month-old little girl in our area. Her name is Meadow. She has an inoperable tumor from her brain stem down the left side of her neck to the carotid artery to the jugular vein and airway. She has hd to be on a feeding tube since birth. On June 10, she will enter the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for a 6 week feeding clinic that will hopefully enable her to make some changes so she can finally eat normally. We have had fund raisers for this expensive treatment and I think she has also been featured on "Oprah's Big Give" to raise the rest of the money. Please pray for success for this precious little one and lift Meadow and her family to God's care
I will pray for Betsy and Meadow and family ... so sad.

My Prayers also to Anita, Betsy and Meadow along with any others I have overlooked. i hope we get to see all the pets and loved ones who have gone before us to Heaven. It states quite clearly in the Bible that the Apostle's felt Jesus wounds! I see no reason to believe that our own resurrection and uplifting to dwell with God should be of a different quality.

KIR, We have laughed and cried and lamented and shared joy in each others lives and I will always treasure that! Sometimes I think I am wittier than I really am and I forget that sarcasm or "Tongue in cheek" humor doesn't translate well to the very limiting 2 dimensions of a Computer Screen. You and CSF are two of my very closest on-line friends and I value you both a great deal!

May all of you be blessed, and father in Jesus name, I just lift up all the prayer needs expressed here today, Tracy's biopsy, Anita's adoption situation, Pastor Betsy's spinal surgery (and a speedy recovery), and the little girl Meadow. We thank you in advance for your answers.
If there are any of you interested in prophecy, here is a link that is very interesting, it is using the Jewish calendar and eclipses. I would like to hear back from you what you think, but please PM, as I don't want to tie up this thread.
