It almost feels like a setup.  Go, Kobe Go!  50 + in game 5!

Does anyone know if the NBA reviewed Kirilenko’s tripping of Kobe at the end of game 3? As a Jazz fan I was embarrassed by the fans cheering of Kobe Laying on the floor in pain and Andrei’s laughing at him as he walked off the court. Could this have led to Kobe’s game 4 back injuries? Kobe is going to be on our side during the Olympics and Kirilenko will be on Russia’s. As far as we Jazz fans are concerned he should keep his act in Russia. Hopefully, they don't start ejecting all of the Jazz players, because these are the kind of fouls are what got them where they are now.

Doughdoc....  you keep posting the same drivel on every  thread.  Do you think that the more times it appears makes it more meaningful?

Andrei was laughing because there was a foul called when Kobe had clearly just tripped.  It was a ticky-tack foul at best, and he has had more whistles on him than anyone else in the series.  I watched the same play, and in no way do I think Andrei was laughing at Kobe.  Furthermore, don't speak for Jazz fans saying that "we" want him to stay in Russia.  He's a big part of this team, and needs to keep playing tough, aggressive defense if the Jazz are going to pull this series off.  Go Jazz!

I don't see a setup here and really I don't want to see Kobe push for 50. He looked frustrated by his back last game and was putting up long jumpers non-stop in the 4th and OT because his back hampered his ability to continue going to the hole as strong as usual. If he just deferred a bit more to the hot hands (Odom, Fish and Gasol) instead of insisting on being the man he could have been resting his back sooner than later. I'm sure it's hard to defer when you are the best player on the planet, but if he is limited, he will need to play within those limitations for now.

There was no foul called, when there clearly was a foul, is why he was laughing.
