Which late round pick do you think will make the biggest impact this year?

Erik Ainge: you just don'tknow what your going to get from Chad and Kellen

Marcus Henry: could make an impact as a 3rd of 4th receiver especially in the red zone   given his height (6-4)

Dwight Lowery:  could be starting opposite Revis before the end of the season.

I have to go with Lowery because he can make the transition the quickest. I think Ainge and Henry will probably each take a couple of years to contribute as pros.

I think Henry can make some big catches if given the chance.

Henry will be the 3rd WR by the end of the season. He is the WR they have been looking for they just need to give him a chance.

I expect more from Lowery than the other two this first year, I just like his intangibles and think that he will be a starter by the last 5-6 games. The one good thing is that there is no player who I don't like in some way, in other drafts I've always found at least one player pick I didn't like at all, my biggest question mark is not if these players can become contributors but rather how long will it take for them to really catch on and produce, if any one of them is too long developing they will be gone in two years, the only exception may be Ainge, and that will depend on if our starting QB's in front of him play well, if they don't then he will be put to the test before he's ready which I sure hope doesn't happen. With our improved offensive line and added blockers and receivers we should do very well with one of our two front line QB's. I'm hoping that it is Clemmens, and that he really just comes out firing and never looks back.

Barring injuries to both Chad and KC, does anyone see Ainge even being active for a game let alone play?

Only if both of them have terrifically horrible seasons, or if Ainge outperforms one of them in the preseason.  Unless Pennington either gets us 12 or more wins, the Super Bowl, or both, In 2009 I'm betting either Ainge or Clemens will be the starter.

I have to say Lowrey will make the biggest impact this season, there is a good chance Nate Garner gets into the mix as well.

Erik Ainge HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA and i like Ainge but he def aint a rookie... he would need Chad and Kellen too get hurt... plus if that did happen and it was during the season if the Jets were in the hunt.... We would prob sign vinny or call brett or pick up jeff blake or something...wed more then likly go with a guy off the street with experince then starting Ainge

but hey that was funny

my vote is for Henry because i really think we need a third WR too step up

So whomever that will be Brad or Stuckey maybe Wallace Wright  maybe the dude from Brown haha

Idont know but a third WR needs to step up Marcus will have that shot ...

Whatever u liked him or hate him jets fans have been asking for a tall wide out since Key left and now we got one with Marcus Henry.. he will have a great shot too step up for us in 08

so does Lowery... i personall;y hope Miller or Lowery start so he will be good too and one of them as the main backup nik back
